The Diner — Restaurant in Crossville

My husband and I ate here on Tues. August 16th, for breakfast. We got there at 8am n there wasn't many ppl there, way less than 8 ppl.We both ordered water to drink. Instead of giving us our cups to get the water from the drink dispenser, they pour our water from the faucet! I ordered French toast. My husband ordered the Hungry man special. He ordered scrambled eggs w cheese, sausage, grits, n biscuit & gravy. Well needless to say we ended up pouring out our water@the drink dispenser. So we got water from the drink dispenser. We waited over 30 minutes for our food to come out. My French toast was bland. My husband's food wasn't good. His sausage was over cooked & the gravy was runny. We saw one of the kitchen ppl behind the hot bar get food for the customers without using gloves. That's a big health code violation, especially working in restaurant business. It wasn't the lady w the short hair, it was the lady w blonde hair n had on glasses. So needless to say we want be back. Don't recommend going there to eat. Go somewhere else.
