I felt there was something special about Temple the moment I walked into that church. I know that is not rational but that's how I felt. I'm not from the cullman area and didn't really know anyone there but I felt like I was home. Finally. Home. Been looking a long time for this, a very long time. I So I walked one end to the other just getting a feel for the church, some random fella stopped and shook my hand welcoming me. I thought this guy was pretty cool and seemed genuinely happy to see me. A real, godly man. Went in and found a good seat and enjoyed the choir. After they finished the preacher got up to speak and it was that guy that stopped to welcome me! I've heard a few sermons since and my first impression was spot on. That preacher is a genuine, real, godly man preaching the word of God. I guess I've heard 3 or 4 sermons now and I'm joining Temple Baptist Church. Real men, godly men, preaching and serving our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. If you're a man and naturally drawn to a Christian lifestyle then get off your back pocket and come listen! He preaches the word of God...and he's talking to you as man to man. My faith is strong and my beliefs are bible based. In the past during my visits to other places of worship I've always felt like if I could just get the preacher to sit down with me and talk awhile I could find some way to help him reach the young men...send a message that would address what they are really thinking and feeling and the realities of their existence. That's how I felt when I first got to Temple. Not here. I need to keep my mouth shut and ears open. Read and study my bible, pray the Lord's will be done in all things, and fellowship with other like minded christians. It's so simple...
Read moreI came to Temple nearly 10 years ago as a newly single mom with a little boy. From the moment I arrived there God used the preacher and the people there to show me kindness and love, and to begin a work in me. The church has grown tremendously in these 10 years, it’s a big church now yet it still has maintained that homey small church feel…. You become family at Temple. There is ample opportunity for growth, life groups, mission trips, community outreach, incredible children programs, you name it! Also added bonus for fellow nursing mamas, there’s also a nursing room with a tv streaming the services in case you have to step out to feed the little one! The work God is doing here! I’d highly encourage anyone to...
Read moreTemple has been my church home for the past 9 years. I love the fellowship, my Pastor, the choir, and the Word of God that is preached there each and every Sunday. This is a place for hurting Christians, the lost, the broken-hearted, the outcasts, and anyone else that desires to be loved. It is a place where we are free to worship our Savior and learn more about Him. The Life Groups are our ways of ministering to others, as well as, learning about life and helping each other get through it victoriously. Come visit and worship with us: 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM each Sunday. Bible Study on Wednesday's at 7:00 PM. We also have a great youth group and studies for babies up through...
