Don't usually leave reviews on a place but today I was just greeted to a very unsafe place to shop. Masks are used more as a feel good vanity strap under the chin as they prepare the meat in the deli. Those that do wear masks outside of the deli wear them under their nose making them no more than a piece of fabric for show. The safest place in this store would be the sliding doors that greet you as you go in. Places like this remind me that I'm not surprised Wisconsin is the worst state for the spread of covid-19 during this pandemic. Needless to say I don't plan shopping here anytime soon. I can appreciate wanting to support local businesses - but I simply cannot afford to shop at this store. I can go to Walmart and get a trunk full of groceries for $150, but at nilssen’s I’m lucky if I get 3 bags for that amount. In a small town where people aren’t loaded, we have to go where our budget allows. If I’m shopping at nilssens with my $150 per week grocery budget, my family is going to be mighty hungry.
