On the recommendation of about 50 people, I visited the Central Hotel for dinner a few weeks ago. Had the chopped steak, good portion, good side salad, steak fries were huge. All very delicious. Move ahead to two days ago. Went in late afternoon for dinner. Again, on the recommendation of everyone, I ordered the rib eye. Had a very crisp salad, the lettuce was cool and right out of the garden. Out came the steak, literally the size of a 68 Buick hubcap, covered the entire plate. On top of it were some of the best fries I've had in a long time. My ONLY suggestion would be maybe marinating the meat in something, or some herbs or a rub. It was a really good steak, just needed a liiiiittle flavor. Maybe just me. Everyone knows everyone there, so striking up a conversation with other diners is inevitable, which is awesome for an out of towner like myself. I believe the waitress there is Molly, who is attentive beyond compare. Friendly, polite and on top of your every need. I'll be back, every time I visit...
Read moreWe found this place on Google maps. We came at lunch time & there wasn't anyone there. Their main dining room wasn't open yet so where we sat was just ok.
But where that room lacked much atmosphere, the service & food quality, quantity & price more than made up for it.
The waitress was very kind, laughed at my dumb jokes & made some jokes also. She answeed all our questions & knew the menu well. I had the Marco Polo chicken which was like cordon bleu but stuffed with broccoli, cheese & other goodies. Came with green beans, salad & potato. Mine was baked & was very fluffy. Of Course I mashed the tater, beans & real butter & sour cream all together. Good to the last drop!
Chicken melted in my mouth,it was so moist. Plus thebroccoli & cheese made it all healthy! On my head anyway...

I asked if they used real butter for baked potatoes, waitress replied yes, baked potato came with 1/8 cup margarine on top, I was unable to eat it. Waitress never asked how everything was, just do you need anything, and then came back once with the bill. ...
