I purchased a 2019 Ram 1500 from your location and a MAX Best Mopar plan for $39,000.

When we got home, we noticed there was a thumping noise coming from the passenger side of the vehicle. We took the truck into a Ram dealer close to our location (VCM is 3 hours).

They said the passenger CV Axel was seized to the differential, bushings & the sway bars were bad. We informed this dealer of our MOPAR plan, & we assumed it was going to be 100% covered since VCM said our plan covered everything.

Because VCM had recently replaced the CV axel when they purchased it for sale, the MOPAR plan will NOT cover it. It will also not cover anything in relation to this since it was considered “pre-existing”. We purchased the plan for $5,000 & we cannot use it.

We contacted Gary, our VCM sales rep, who put us in contact with Andy Howard. Andy assured us this “would be completely taken care of”. He said “you did everything you could to protect yourselves & we will fix this.” He spoke to their service center & revealed to us that it was VCM’s fault the CV axel was not fixed correctly by their mechanics & he now has “someone to bust” for the issue & he will get in contact w/the dealer the truck is currently at & take care of everything.

After a week of waiting for answers, we call our local rep who has our truck & got ahold of Andy & they are dealing w/the paperwork & emailing back & forth. Our rep sent an email saying that because the CV axel was incorrectly replaced by VCM, the truck needs a new CV axel, sway bars, bushings & a differential. This email was received by Andy & given to Damian who I believe is the service manager.

When Damian joined the conversation we started having a horrible experience. When we talked to Andy again, Andy then stated he never said he would fix anything except the CV axel, which is not true. He spoke the words “we will take care of everything” & at that time he WAS fully aware of the CV axel, sway bars, bushings etc. Andy then stated he had nothing to do w/ this case, cannot help us & he handed us off to Damian.

When we originally spoke to Andy, & he claimed that the trucks repairs would be paid for by VCM, this must have been a lie and making such a promise and then not fulfilling it is very unprofessional.

Our local rep sent pictures of what needed to be fixed to VCM. Damian claimed that the seized up axel could be taken apart by VCM mechanics, & it didn’t need replaced. The dealer here said this was not true. The truck is in front of them & the parts are not salvageable. This part needs replaced & was caused by a bad CV axel. Damian rudely told us that they will come take the truck back to their location to try & separate the pieces. We did not want to move the truck because at this point we cannot trust VCM for anything. From selling a vehicle for 40k with major issues, to having mechanics that either did not fix the axel correctly originally or only fixed it to hide a bigger issue, to having Andy tell us it would be fixed and then it’s not, to Damian being disrespectful to the current jeep dodge ram dealer saying they were not able to perform a job “his” mechanics could, VCM was just not trustworthy enough to take our vehicle off the current location.

At one point Damian called our rep Cody, & was trying to get Cody to allow him to move our vehicle to their location after we said we did not want it moved. We had to be very vocal with our rep saying do NOT let them take it.

We called Damian & stated that we will pay for the differential since VCM did not think it needed fixed, if VCM will pay for the rest. Damian said that might be possible & would give him a call back. We didn’t receive a call so my husband called him multiple times.

Damian then called Cody and told him VCM was only going to replace the axel and nothing else.

Terrible customer service & VCM has ruined us financially due its shady sales of bad vehicles & the false promises made by...

On 2/4/25 I had my 2021 Ram serviced for transfer case, front and rear differentials, as well as a tire rotation. This is my “home” dealership, my family and I have bought/leased vehicles here for nearly 10 years. I was not given a quote for this entire service, which I thought was odd, however I was prepared to spend at least 500-600 bucks for maintenance. Being my home dealer, not being quoted an amount wasn’t alarming, if I’m not quoted, it shouldn’t be more than 1,000 dollars. I was told approximately $300 for the differentials, which I gave the green light for. After around 2 hours, I got the call that my truck was finished and I was paying the bill, it was OVER $1,000! I was shocked.

In preparation for confronting the dealer, I reached out to several CDJR dealers in the area for quotes for the same service. Imagine my dismay and utter disbelief when I was quoted over the phone between 400-500 for the same exact service, with labor included. 1180 was my totally amount and that is nearly double! Their labor was the most expensive at 707.18 for 2 hours of work, for a tire rotation and liquids? Anyone with any car knowledge understands these are not every labor intensive, and if we as consumers were able to buy these fluids from CDJR, instead of being forced to go to the dealership for these things, we could do the services ourselves. Here is the kicker, every dealership I had a conversation with told me, “if you dont tow heavily, you dont need to worry about your differentials unless you suspect a leak”. “Your transfer case fluid is good for 120K miles”. I was always told at 60k miles you should check fluids and make sure everything is still in working order. The sad truth is, I spent 1,000 dollars on preventative maintenance that did not need to be done, and was taken to the cleaners for not knowing that. I needed 2 free recall repairs and a tire rotation.

When confronting the dealer, I spoke to the service advisor who was on our paperwork/ receipt. He claimed that their rates were competitive, which was false, I had the actual numbers from the other dealerships. Could not get an exact explanation on why my bill was nearly double! The best they could do was, it was because of the technology in their computers. So your dealership technology, which is apparently not the same as any other dealership in a 40 mile radius, gives you the right to charge me nearly double?! The service manager was next. I apparently was given a full quote, ( I wasn’t ). Who in their right mind would pay over 1,000 for those services? NOTHING WAS BROKEN! It was all preventative maintenance, and 90 percent of the job is letting gravity drain out liquid and 2 recalls. 75 dollars misc charge? Still no explanation for that either. Nobody in the service department could explain that charge. I wanted to go above the service manager for further explanation. I should charge a on hold fee, or waiting for the GM to get back from lunch fee. Because over a week later, I have yet to I hear from anyone about any of this. How many times do I need to reach out before it becomes a choir for the consumer? This review/reviews was my last resort.

At this point, I dont want my money back, I want to warn anyone who does business here. Nearly 10 years of loyalty, trust, stayed during changing of ownership, and recommended business to them. These things do not matter to new ownership. Not only will I not be returning to this dealership, this left a bad taste in my mouth for the ENTIRE brand! This will be my last time at this dealership, and my last...

I had a great experience buying a car that I wanted - not needed. That was what made this car buying experience an enjoyable one. The major points that I would like make sure that are recognized of this excellent buying experience (if you don't read the whole review):

This was an easy experience to work out with awesome (and extremely friendly) staff both in person and online. Reviews online do not lie about this place - very low pressure sales... which I loved.

Was able to work out most of the deal before even stepping on the dealership lot - but the in person experience was great. I am glad I stopped in here.

Everything straight forward and no games

I was happy with my current vehicle, but a couple months ago, but I hit a point in my current vehicle where I was like, "Do I put more money into this, or upgrade". I was looking to get out of a vehicle I loved, and that was paid off, for something more practical as a day to day driver... especially in the winter.

So I messaged them and we got chatting. Emailing back and forth, they were willing to set up an e-price right off the bat - which was nice and easy. I reached internet sales representative, Dave McGraw, to work out a time to come in. As for the price, that was even nicer, "Here is the price if you go with "XX" financing". No bait and switch, no "what do you want your payment to be", none of that. That was it; that simple. I gave a couple days I could make it in, and Dave was very good with my schedule, not pushing the issue of making time to go in and drive the car.

When I reached the lot, I was not handed off to a new sales representative. Dave was finishing up for the evening and came out to answer my questions. He was very nice and awesome to chat with. Dave was very knowledgeable in the Jeep line of vehicles, and was fun to talk shop with, while we test drove the car. He realized I was very familiar with the vehicle and just let me drive it and get a feel for that model, making sure it was what I wanted. He didn't try to distract me when I was trying to get the feel and the noise of the vehicle. We took out a couple different trims so I could feel that the rides were in fact, different.

When the drive was over - went back to the office to talk numbers. We kept chatting while the other agents kept things rolling in the background. Dave was very personable and recognized I knew a lot about the car and just let me roll with the deal. Dave was a great sales representative to work with - no pressure (which was refreshing for once). We were even able to work out a deal on a vehicle that I was looking to sell privately.

Finalizing the deal was quick and easy. I had my financing and rate pre-approved, and was able to work with Todd Dungan, the finance manager, to finale the paperwork. It was a low pressure, well explained, experience. We had all the paperwork and financing done within 15-20 minutes. Great guy to talk to as well and did not try to pull a fast one with financing paperwork.

Overall - this car buying experience was awesome. I was able to get a deal on the car I had eyeing, almost the exact amount in trade-in that I wanted, and was able to get the deal done (at the dealership) in under two hours. You can't beat that, especially going in to only drive the car... not to buy one that evening. Dave McGraw (and team) - keep things (and the deal) straight forward, honest, and easy... both online and in person. I was very happy with my experience. Thank you again,...
