I’ve been overall pretty happy with Beazer despite the countless quality issues I’ve had to encounter and address, from the red tape walk-through all the way to 14 months later. I’ve dedicated countless man hours keeping up with and calling in issue after issue to have repaired. The mass production of these homes and the lowest bidding sub contractors Beazer hires creates a plethora of quality issues. Granted, Beazer has done a decent job of taking care of most of them, although sometimes only after some initial contractor jargon about that’s how it’s supposed to be.
But this next situation just puts the icing on the cake.
During the construction of my home, Beazer directed the electrical contractor to install the main supply line outside of the designated utility easements, running it straight through the middle of my usable yard. The contractor followed those directions and ran my supply line through my yard basically turning my entire back yard into a utility easement. My plat survey that Beazer provided me clearly shows the usable area in my back yard enough to put a pool in and come to find out that survey is erroneous because there is an electrical supply line running through it.
This careless decision now prevents me from using my property as intended, I cannot proceed with my pool project without relocating the main electrical line. Because of this, my pool cost has now shot up by 5%, a very disappointing and unnecessary expense that should never have been my responsibility. When I raised this issue, both Beazer basically brushed it off as “not our problem.”
That is unacceptable. A professional builder and licensed electrical contractor should know that permanent supply lines belong in easements, not through a homeowner’s yard where they permanently block normal improvements. Passing blame back and forth instead of taking accountability shows a lack of integrity and responsibility.
If you’re considering a Beazer home, think twice. Their poor planning and refusal to take ownership of their mistakes will leave you with costly problems down the road. Unless you think of everything before you...
Read moreMy personal experience and recommended opinion stay away; unless you want to deal with many issues and feel like a babysitter. Because of so many problems with the build a V-I-P stepped in and that was a joke. Well, 2 days before closing we all stood inside doing the final walkthrough. How does one approve the sale of a below-standard home? It’s unbelievable that the living room wall had a deformation, the lawn was torn up, the paint throughout the home was horrible, uneven tiles, and oil stains on the driveway from shady contractor vehicles parked. Yet, y’all are ok to call it a completed home? Needless to say, the closing was postponed as we demanded that the issues be addressed. Wouldn’t this make you feel extremely upset, and disrespected? Perhaps new management is in order from the top of the hill down to the ground? Save yourself from the headaches and don’t let my experience be yours.
This is the office I walked into. No need to reply with apologies, many were giving throughout the build. If your team would like the opportunity to hear more about the many concerning issues have corporate call me.
-Roland, kind of pointless for me to call just for y'all to say sorry again. However, if you want to learn better customer service this info could be a learning experience for y’all. As far as my experience it was exhausting. I was told by your VIP in charge that my house would be checked on every week after the bathtub incident. Well, if that was true then the house would have not had those issues before closing. I’m still dumbfounded as to why a VIP standing in my house would be ok with selling a home “NOT up to “Beazer standards”. Spending that much money and having to hassle with the process can...
Read moreFun morning today at the Beazer Homes in Amira in Tomball... this is just the first phase of the day. I really enjoy learning all about new builds all over Houston with different builders. It was so neat to learn all about the Beazer Homes process. My fave thing was the extra layer of foam added under the AC unit which helps for the added level of quiet comfort for the homeowner. Awesome stuff!!! Thanks Shelley, Bryan, Ken, Josh and Troy for the learning! #IlichRamirezHomesTeamBrokeredByEXPRealty #exprealty #exprealtyproud #realestate #realtor #realtorlife #katytxrealtor #beazerhomes #newhomeconstruction...
