Food Lion — Local services in Dale City

I use to shop at Giant. After walking in Food Lion, the store is the cleanest grocery store I have had the pleasure to shop in. The produce dept is kept fresh displays you will never find expired food, the meat dept and deli is the same. I noticed how friendly and hardworking the staff is at this store. They are always happy 😃 to answer questions; take the time to acknowledge you as a loyal customer. The cashiers always greet you when you walk in and check out. I have to give a special shout out to the hard working ladies that have been there along time (Alice, May, Leslie, Maureen) including; Renee and Tammy in produce, the guys in the meat dept (Jody ect.), ladies in the deli, all cashiers and front customer service managers. The new assistant mgr and mgr are always pleasant. The stock employees work very hard to ensure all shelves are stocked. They renovated the store to enable the shopper to navigate through easily. Food Lion donates food to food pantries weekly. I personally recommend shopping here for fresh, quality food and a crew of mgrs and employees that totally make your grocery shopping amazing awesome 😎. I truly don’t think 🤔 people realize how hard they work to make their grocery experience awesome. Late post : Don’t understand how it has that good rating! Store is clean. But environment is not friendly. No offense I am not racist and I don’t like racism all almighty believers can’t be like that but even black people at this is kind of racist. Body language and face expression says everything. They don’t say anything no eye contact. Most of the food lion is getting worse day by day. NOT ALL BROWN PEOPLE ARE HISPANIC. South continents(India ,Bangladesh, Pakistan,Sri Lanka)people can look like Hispanic but they are not!!! And we purchase a lot, we have contribution of the economy too. Cashiers are too busy talking, hanging out in the front of the store smoking and not paying attention to the customers. One in particular has such a bad attitude I have started avoiding this store all together and going to the other one that is further away from me. It seems like all of the friendly, attentive staff have moved on to a better place of employment or have been let go and replaced with a younger, uncaring staff.
