This review is in regards to whom looks like the manager, the tall well dressed gentleman is always working hard on keeping leaves off of the courts here.
I have noticed that he manually does all the zip ties himself. He does not assign the tasks to the employees, it seems that he has a weird level of quality control that can only be done by himself.
None the less I do appreciate it since it seems like he is working very hard at this facility to keep the courts clean. It has caused the facility to be very crowded but I can’t complain since I have slipped on leaves before and broke my tail bone and left hip at a country club nearby.
I hope that this facility stays managed by this group - they have turned it around from its past when I knew the old manager was taking cash direct which I believe is also not ethical to the facility manager and the city of Dallas.
Thank you Impact man for working hard everyday to maintain the good quality control at Fretz TC.

Read moreThis is a hidden gem within our community. Tucked in behind a swim center, library, fire station, and ball fields are a cluster of tennis courts on City of Dallas property. Improvements are subject to City funding and or approvals. Conditions for the courts are not the same as a country club. Yet, they are safe and very playable. By the way, they also have coaches who are able to keep drills both competitive and fun. They also have a pro shop that performs racket stringing and carries both tennis and pickleball equipment. The vibe during drills here is special because everyone plays their best while trying to get better and have fun. So, if you enjoy playing like John McEnroe and Ilie Năstase's loudest moments, drills here may not be a good fit for you at the 3.0-3.5 level.
UPDATE: The pickleball takeover pushed out many tennis players and coaches. Tennis drills are not as popular as they were before the 8 additional pickleball courts replaced 2...
Read moreI started attending drills at Fretz Tennis Center a year ago after taking a 16-year break from the sport, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. Booking drills through the app is quick and convenient, and the front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. Karen greets me by name with a big smile every time I walk in, which makes the experience even more welcoming.
Most of my drills are with Jake Williams, who is a fantastic coach and instructor. He keeps the drills fun, engaging, and makes sure newcomers feel comfortable right away. I also attend drills with Seth Harris, who is personable and does a great job running his sessions.
On top of that, the players who attend Fretz are kind and supportive, which makes the community here even better. I’m so glad...
