Gran Fiesta Event Center — Local services in Dallas

These are the type of people you do not want to book with. My sister had her quinceanera yesterday, Sept 21st 2024. My parents made their payments on time and way ahead the event happened, to avoid being mistreated. In addition my parents were struggling to get in contact with the owners 1 months before our event, specifically the day before our event. And we have the messages and calls that we made that were never answered, very unprofessional. We arrived 2 hours before our event to unload our drinks, not to began the celebration, like this man is stating. Also our invitations states party starts at 5 pm, so why would we start getting things ready at 5 pm, if at 5 pm the celebration started for us to enjoy our event. My grandfather was who is in his 70’s was even helping us because that is how my family is, very supportive no matter what. He was denied a chair to rest after helping unload the drinks because according to the contract he could not seat until 5 pm. And when I confronted Mayra about it she clearly said “ I don’t give care about your grandfather issues”. In addition the company who brought us the cake were really nice people, all the asked Mayra was for an extension and she rudely said “this is not a bakery you figure it out”. As a business owner you want your client to be satisfied, I did not know letting someone borrow an extension cord was not part of the contract. I also want to mention that I have a video of everyone that was helping not dressed appropriately to began our celebration because we were not there to celebrate at 3 pm we were there to organize our food and drinks. THESE ARE THE RUDEST PEOPLE. DO NOT BOOK THEM SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE. THANK YOU!

Also EVERY SINGLE TOILET LID WAS BROKEN THE RESTROOMS WERE COMPLETELY DIRTY AND THE RESTROOMS DOORS WERE DAMAGED! THERE WAS A PUDDLE OR WATER NEXT TO AN EXTENSION CORD THAT HAD ELECTRICITY RUNNING. WE HAD SEVERAL KIDS WHO FELL! ALSO THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING IT WAS HOT ALL THE TIME.

I HAVE PROOF OF EVERYTHING I AM SAYING BECAUSE I RECORDER EVERYTHING BEFORE 5 PM . NOW THEY ARE BLAMING US THAT WE BROKE THE TOILETS WHEN I WENT TO EACH STALL AND INSPECTED THEM AND THEY WERE ALL BROKEN. I HAVE PICTURES OF...

My daughter's quinceañera was in July, on the red ballroom, everything came out beautiful, decorations awesome the staff very nice, the food awesome, delicious, chef Erika very nice. I signed contract with Mrs Laura very nice lady, when getting your deposit back no problem!. The only thing and I did mentioned Laura that, I was very unhappy when literally about to cut the cake, they asked me for the plates? Really? at that momment you dont know what to do. maybe they need to put that in the contract since you signed a contract 9 months prior to the party and that way you dont forget 😊 I would recommend this place for your future events....

I do not recommend at all. My family had a really bad experience. If anyone in management wants to talk to me so I can tell them what happened, that can be great. Just letting y’all know there was things about this and place that were not mentioned AT ALL. We literally found out little BS the same day we went there. I am not the one to everrrr review things cause I could care less but this really got my family mad bc when you are planning an event you PLAN things for a reason.
