Almost a 5 star. It is a great little distillery in an industrial building. From inside it looks like it would be in the back of a small theater doing performances. The place was great... their own vodka as well as a few flavored ones. The Raspberry and Maple were excellent and the Java one is likely good also, just not a coffee guy myself. If you happen to stop at some of the local shops (like Ben and Jerry's) you can likely find a flyer which will get you a free tasting and a souvenir glass. You park in the back of the building and come in the door that is labeled, so won't be a big obvious seperate shop like you maybe accustomed to.

My sister and her husband were visiting for new years. I was hoping that I would catch Silver Bear open on New Year’s Eve. I was in luck! Called the number and Peter answered and he said,” Come on in!” We were treated to delicious tasting and great company. Peter was pleasant, funny and knowledgeable. We tasted the amazing liqueurs and Peter whipped up a few cocktails for us. All I can say is… I’ll be back!!

Come visit this artisanal distillery — you won’t regret it. It was such a unique experience to get a distillery tour and learn more about how Silver Bear creates top quality 100% malted vodka. It’s actually the best vodka i’ve ever tasted. We thoroughly enjoyed our tasting with the owner Peter. Craft beer meets high quality liquor.

The place was great... their own vodka as well as a few flavored ones. The Raspberry and Maple were excellent and the Java one is likely good also, just not a coffee guy myself.

What a great find!! We were in town for a family reunion and happened to stumble upon this distillery with my cousins, then we made it a family affair. The couple that owns the place was so nice and very accommodating. We opted in for the tasting and then went on to try about every drink on their menu. They were all delicious!! If I am ever in the area I will definitely be back. We wound up taking some bottles back to TX and CA...

The owners are super nice! They make 5 kinds of vodka, a traditional one, a 'barely filtered', a raspberry, a maple, and coffee flavors. They are all single malt made with wheat. They offer tastings, as well as various cocktails, some merch, and even hand sanitizer. If you are anywhere near the berkshires, and want to get a look at a local distiller, i highly recommend them! They've been there 3 years now and only...
