We primarily visit this place to see concerts and we eat at the Shire Brewpub in the basement before the show. At our last visit the emcee announced that there are around 20 businesses in the complex, but my review has s only of the Shire and the concert space. The food at the brewpub is very good and they know what they're doing when it comes to brewing; their light lagers are well balanced and they have the courage to branch out to styles beyond IPAs. The staff also knows the menu very well and makes suggestions that will likely improve your overall experience. The wings are noteworthy. The concert space is an absolute hidden gem in the Berkshires, a region with an embarrassment of riches when it comes to performance spaces.
