I have been with Aaronâs for about a month and I will never return to this place again! Ashley is extremely rude and disrespectful. I called today to make a payment on my washer that I had got from them I had late fees and my payment which are fine but then I also had an in-home fee which was never discussed to me when they came to deliver the washer nor when I spoke with Aaron on the phone the day it was delivered. when I was transferred to Ashley today she picked up the phone said this is Ashley with a attitude I was like Iâm sorry I was transferred over to speak with the General manager. She than stated that she is the GM. I started to let her know about this in home fee that I wasnât gonna pay for because I never knew anything about it nor did I have someone come to my home. She said oh itâs in your contract when you donât answer your phone or call us back we send out someone to your home and charge a $10 fee. OK itâs in my contract, but my contract wasnât discussed with me it was here you sign this thatâs it we drop off your washer. It was done and over with. when I told her that the fee could be waved due to the circumstance, She wanted to say no Iâm not doing that saying youâre not gonna tell me what Iâm gonna do. I wasnât telling her what to do at all! I was saying is she has the option to wave that fee considering it was never discussed, and it was never told that it was even in the contract from the start. when I asked for her managerâs name she was like Iâm the GM. I am the general manager of this entire store. I said well thereâs always somebody above you so she said I will give my managers number then put the phone down. You can hear her and her coworker, laughing and talking about me saying ahah she can sit there and wait now she can deal with my manager. she picked up the phone and I said you guys are funny thinking that I could not hear you talking about me laughing and sitting there saying oh I can wait and I definitely can deal with your boss. She then lied saying that she wasnât talking about me that thereâs other people in building. I was like yeah thereâs other people but you clearly were talking about me when youâre saying I can wait and I can deal with your boss. I told her she is very unprofessional I was like Iâm an assistant manager myself. I was like that is not the way you speak and deal with customers. So on I called the number she gave me. A lady by the name of Debbie answered. She was very apologetic and helpful. She sent an email over to the owner of the Danville stores. She told me that he will get back to me as soon as possible and that if she could find out anything more that she would give me a call back. So on Her boss had called me a few hours later the (OWNER) he was extremely rude and disrespectful just as well. I see where they get it from. He called me a liar saying that they did discuss that in Home fee with me and I said, sir, no they did not. He kept cutting me off. I couldnât even finish telling my side of the story before he cut me off and kept calling me a liar about this in-home fee. I was like it would be different if it was discussed I would have no problem paying this $10 fee, but it was not so I will not pay it Ashley refused to take my payment and so did the owner of Aaronâs. Itâs was refused twice in the same day by the GM and the owner. He than told me that I was going to steal their product from them which I have been a customer with Rent-A-Center as well for about three years and I donât have any issues with them. I only went through aarons because they didnât have a washer that I needed through Rent-A-Center. The (OWNER) wouldnât even answer my question when I said is this how you treat your customers??? And he said we wouldnât be in business if it wasnât for customers like you and I was like what it that supposed to mean and he stated customer that dont pay their payments.    Read moreI honestly wouldn't even give this place 1 star but it's the lowest you can give. Was a customer through Aaron's in Danville, Illinois by Walmart for almost a year. Starting 6 months ago there began to be an issue with every payment we made and then came yesterday I get a knock on the door two Aaron's delivery men standing there claiming we owed 300 or they were taking our washer and dryer. Come to find out from the driver for Aaron's that the manager has made a miscalculation and double charged us saying we had 2 washers and 2 dryers on our account when we only have one of each. Thankfully the driver was one of the same men who had moved our washer and dryer into our new home and explained to me the managers mistake said he would let her know. Told him my husband and I would be up there today to pay the full balance which was really only 120 when we tried to come to the store to pay the balance we were told they didn't want our money and we couldn't pay our account up in cash even thought that's what we do every week. The gentleman at the counter proceeded to tell my husband to not say anything about the manager because that was his woman which was very unprofessional and inappropriate when we were simply stating what their drivers had informed us of and not to mention the manager being his woman has nothing to do with the issue at hand.
