As with any CC or University, there are pros and cons. Most of the staff are nice and knowledgeable. However, a big downside to me was the lack of sections. Transferred to Northern Virginia CC because they have so many more class sections available and even online.
Not to mention, DCC doesn't offer Unsubsidized Stafford Loans, which means you don't get all the money you are eligible for to help live while you attend school. Northern Virginia does offer them, so you can get up to 10,500 a year instead of 4,500 (in loans). Less loans might be better to some, but I think that should be up to the student - not the college - especially if your level of need has indicated that you are...
