We would have given a 5 for the trip and departure. Kayak River trip was beautiful and relaxing. Staff was helpful and had no problem helping load our personal kayaks. Our relaxation vibe was killed when we had to wait over 1.5 hours to be picked up. Had to call to remind them we were done with the tour. Disappointed that we lost part of our vacation day literally sitting on hot sand waiting for the shuttle. We had booked early in the day with the plan to do other things, but by the time we got back to our car the day was pretty much gone. The whole process (check in to getting back) was over 5 hours. I had an amazing time at Kickapoo Adventures! The staff were not only super friendly but also went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. I made the mistake of trying to pet a dog (totally my fault), and ended up getting a little bite. But Julie and the team were incredible—right there with first aid, and they made sure I was okay the whole time. I loved Kickapoo! The environment is fantastic, and the landscape is beautiful. I've been to the park twice: once for a company event and once for camping. For the company event, we were hosted next to the restaurant in a great area by the lake. There are plenty of parking spots, making it very convenient.
