I worked in the Skilled Trades, for 30 years, as a Sheet Metal Worker. [Local 7 Zone 2] And I did, a lot of work, with different types of metals. One of the nicest metals was the stainless steel. Only the hard thing with this type of metal. Is when you welded it. As the flux was starting to cool, from welding & it would pop off & go down your shirt, or other places on your body. It would get you most every time. This piece that I purchased, if you should buy a full sheet of it, I Would Say, it is Food Grade All The Way !!! There Prices on all there different iron, they have is really a Great Way to Go. Soon as My health is much better. And as Soon, as I get back to 75%, I will be doing some, Great Business with them. Because there prices, are not bad for one sheet of iron. So many places will want You,,,,,, to buy several pieces, to get the prices down to the one, sheet you can buy from here. We purchased two 33" long, 1.5" thick stainless steel shelves and mounted them in the kitchen. Can't say enough about the quality and function of these shelves.

Shipping: To start, the transport packaging was masterminded. There was a layer of bubble wrap, then a heavy-duty cardboard box layer, then another layer of jumbo bubble wrap, then the actual shipping box (4 layers of protection) - needless to say, the product arrived in perfect condition.

Product Quality: I had searched for a couple of years to find a seamless, strong shelf like this, with our demands being a high load capacity and an attractive finish. Ponoma has perfected its specifications; all the edges smooth, finish is uniform and beautiful, mounting is tight. I have 45 pounds loaded to the bottom shelf and it could handle twice that. The closer views in the photos I've posted show how seamless and professional the edges and corners...
