Ordered a custom design 20x14 shed with eaves on the 14' end and gables on the 20' sides. All display models and price lists have the longer sides as being eaves and the shorter sides with gables, but I was glad to see that they were willing to work with me to produce the shed that worked best for our property and the layout we had in mind. To be honest, the pricing adjustment to have it done this way was a negligible increase in the end too, so that was a bonus. We also opted for 2x6 exterior framing, which, even though it doesn't seem like a big deal, is HUGE. It's a big deal, not only because you want the exterior support of an outbuilding to be as beefy as possible, but it is an immense help for storage. When you put strapping up across the studs, you can fit a ton of stuff in those compartments - rakes, brooms, shovels, hockey sticks, baseball bats, tennis rackets, skate boards, and the list goes on. My last shed, we had 2x4 framing and tried this for storage, and we couldn't fit nearly as much, so we upgraded to the 2x6 this time and it quite honestly is my favorite feature - and this is also negligible cost to select, so it is a no-brainer. Now, the good and bad. PROS: *Online "Shed Configurator" is a nice tool for ballpark pricing, but does not really offer an exhaustive list of options, as you'll find if you visit the showroom. Take it with a grain of salt because it is "ballpark" only. By the time you speak with PWI directly, your pricing will go up or go down from that initial estimate. *Showroom experience itself was fine, but I think it was hampered by the wait I endured because they seemed short-staffed (Covid-related?). Once I was in touch with a salesperson, things went very well, and they were very knowledgeable. Anything they did not know the answer to, they took note of it and got back to me with the answer soon thereafter. *High quality build. Materials seem to be excellent. *Building is aesthetically very nice. It's pretty much exactly how we drew it up. *Communication was good up front. *Due to delays (discussed below in the "CONS"), PWI was accommodating and apologetic, and refunded me a significant amount of money through credited upgrades or simply money off the balance. CONS: *Delays to delivery. I originally chose PWI because their main competitor was quoting massive timelines due to Covid (from first contact in May, all the way out to October). PWI Sales reported that they had not altered their production schedule/capacity due to Covid and quoted me 5-9 weeks from end of June (this means end of August, latest). Once week 5 hit, I checked in with the sales team a couple times to see how the timeline was coming. About week 7, I was told it was going to be on the long end the 5-9 week range. As we got closer, the date was set for mid-September, which was well beyond the 9 week max quoted. Normally this wouldn't be a major issue, but for what I had going on at the time, I needed to take delivery during the time quoted, based on my own availability. *As the shed was being delivered, I was told that the trusses for the attic were coming from a third party, also delayed (due to Covid), scheduled to arrive at my home later on that day, and a crew would be back out to finish the job. This did not happen. The trusses were actually delivered to PWI instead, and I did not see them until the next day (Saturday). A crew did come and install the trusses, as well as the roofing, but there was no siding applied to to the gables. To make a long story short, it basically took the entire following week to get everything completed (siding, doors hardware, soffits, ramps, etc.). *The 72" transom window we order that was supposed to go above the 72" barn doors was not initially installed, despite being on the itemized sales order. Once I noticed this, I let the office know, and that was installed retrospectively. *Communication on the back end was not great about the extra delays.

All in all, an excellent end product, and I highly recommend, despite Covid throwing a monkey...

My wife and I live in Hampton Falls NH. We purchased our first shed from Post Woodworking about 8 years ago and were so pleased with the experience that when we needed a shed for our newly purchased tractor there was no question about whom we would call. We had a lot of questions about size, door type, ramp and floor structure and the folks at Post helped us figure it all out. They asked for the specs on our tractor so they could suggest the necessary upgrades without overbuilding it. We ended up with a very strong structure that handles our machine perfectly and looks great on our property. The install guys were awesome. We have a very steep driveway with another steep gravel path up to the site. As such, it was impossible to get the truck very close but when I told them I felt bad they would have so much lugging to do they smiled and said it was all in a days work. They were meticulous in leveling the floor and checked with me once they got it set to be sure I was happy with the orientation. They said they had some wiggle room if I wanted it angled a bit differently. Then they went to work in a very efficient manner and had the shed assembled in no time. It's been through two winters now and looks and functions as well as the day it was installed. There is no sign of settling or structural stress from the weight or vibration of my tractor. If you're in the market for a shed and you want it to last call Post...

We talked about buying a shed for years, but never felt comfortable with our choices, until we took the trip down 125 to Post Woodworking. The moment we arrived, we knew we were in the right place. The staff was knowledgeable not only about the models and options, but was intimately familiar with the process of building our shed (no doubt because all the pre-build is done on site and the installer crew is based there too). Follow-up after our first visit was pressure free. And, again, staff was patient with us as we made out choices. On the day of the install, the crew showed up on time, was friendly, professional and made sure we were happy. Like the folks who helped us buy our shed, the install crew listened to us to make sure that the day-of-install decisions we made would be the right ones for years to come. There was post-installation follow up to make sure we were happy. Whenever anyone asks us about the shed (and we do get many compliments about it), we proudly say it came from Post Woodworking. PS: We have no connection with Post Woodworking other than being a customer, and this a not paid...

Everyone I workes directly with at Post -- Karen, Joe, and Christa -- were just amazing professionals and great people. We built a detached garage with them. We first met Karen, who showed us their offerings, worked with us on the desgin. She was efficient, she really listened well. We had a very vague idea of what we wanted. Karen was extremely good at helping us work through our wish list. She really understood us! Then Joe showed up. He is a man of few words, but he got things done!! We had gone back and forth on the placement, could not decide on the final interior details. Joe patiently worked. From the foundation to the framing felt like a blink of the eye. The final garage really looked amazing! Christa took care uf us through every detail during the build. She helped us with a few changes after as well. The team from Post was just amazing to work with. I recommend them with zero rwservation.

I had the pleasure of having Post Woodworking design and build our new garage. From start to finish this team of professionals were simply outstanding to deal with. They took care of everything through the entire process. They are completely professional and personable at the same time. The quality of their products are second to none. From Dan at the top and everyone in between just fantastic. The entire job was coordinated onsite by Joe Bilo their project manager who was totally on top of everything. And the paperwork and internal logistics handled by Karen and Christa phenomenal. There are other people within their organization who are all awesome as well. Lastly the sub contractors they have partnered with were also exceptional and extremely talented. Kudos to this team and I highly recommend this company for your garage and shed needs.
