Two Maids — Local services in Daphne

So today I finally had my first cleaning with Two Maids and a Mop of Daphne. I had scheduled a while ago but had to keep rescheduling. They were early, which was good for me since I was out running errands. When I arrived home I found a few things that I didn’t like about the service... I am sure it’s picky but if I pay for a home clean, I want it done properly. But I also do recognize that it being the first clean, it takes a few times to get used to how I want things. First off, and this could have been a huge huge problem if I hadn’t of arrived home shortly after they were finished, my cats were locked in the master bedroom screaming to get out. If they had been locked in there for a while this could have resulted in them scratching up the carpet or them going to the bathroom in the bedroom. Also, all of the blinds were left wide open. I live in a nice community, but anyone walking buy could see right into my place and see I wasn’t home and see the nice things I have. That is a huge problem for me. If I had been out of town, this could have been very bad. Then just a few small things... the master bed the comforter wasn’t made up on the bed but folded over at the bottom like it was a throw blanket. In the bathroom I had used qtips that I had forgotten to throw away on the counter top that were in the drawer instead of thrown away. The shower still had some hair in it. In the kitchen the mat in front of the sink was folded up and placed on top of the trash can? The wine bottles were messed up and fallen out of the wine rack. The entertainment center bottom shelves were not dusted but the cabinet doors were shut. Other than those few things they did a great job. I’ll definitely be using them again as long as these items can be addressed...

The baseboards were not clean, the fans had dust on it, the bathrooms still had iron (pink color) showing up because it was never wiped. I asked for a premium clean and didn’t even get a spot clean. I spot cleaned the baseboards and everything before just so that I could get the best possible clean out of their time. My expectations were far from met. I can provide pictures if I need to. I was hoping to build a relationship and was very disappointed. I will not likely recommend the Services because a premium price Should include a premium service. That is not what was provided and I even met with the ladies to show what I wanted. My rug was not even clean- dirt, leaves, etc we’re still visible. I would have expected the things in eye sight to have at least been cleaned. I have high expectations and understand that may not have been the service your company intended to provide, but that is why I took the time to talk to Tina about what would be provided with each clean( high dusting/baseboards/ outside cabinets wiped/ my floors to be mopped( there’s no way it was mopped because my nephews spilled drink was still on the floor from this past weekend). Hired this company to deep clean whole house before moving in after purchasing it. We were out of town so couldn’t be there to oversee but trusted they’d do a good job based on reviews, and considering we paid them around $500 for the cleaning. The house was completely empty. They were supposed to lean top to bottom. But after we finally arrive we’ve found filthy ceiling fans, walls weren’t cleaned off, bawled boards were dirty, dirt around light switches and door handles. They did a terrible job, we felt totally robbed. Unfortunately we were too busy and overwhelmed with trying to move in and get the house in order so didn’t address it right away with this company. This terrible experience has been nagging at me and I feel the need to share with others. They might do a good job if you watching over the shoulder but wouldn’t trust them with doing move-in clean especially if you’re not...
