Does it matter what the cabin is even like if they charge you AGAIN for your stay three weeks later?? Don't worry, you're not missing much anyway. I stayed here over Labor Day weekend and paid for my room at that time. Three weeks later the exact same charge appears on my bank statement. Sharon, the manager, had no clue why this happened and promised to take care of it. Three days later I call and she has not done a thing that would have led to my money being returned. After expressing anger and threatening to file a fraud complaint with my bank, I get an immediate call back saying she had done the refund (why did I wait three days?) Forty eight hours later there is still no refund pending and her answer to me is that she did it and I need to talk to my bank. I advised her that I had called them first. She made no offer to try and check on this herself. She obviously feels her part is done. I was very irate with her and she proceeded to hang up on me twice. I will now move forward with the fraud report and also a police report. BEWARE!!! There are many other, better places to stay...

   Read moreIf there was negative starts, this place would get them. If you try to call, good luck getting any one. After I called 3 times finally someone answered after 3 days of voicemails, they gladly took my credit card number but never gave me the access code. Once I got to the cabin at check in time, still no code. I try to call, straight to voicemail. I’m sitting in my car about to find the nearest hotel and the cleaning lady comes up. She asked me to give her a few minutes to clean and she gives me the key. I have not received any information, how to check out, what is to be expected from me. This is the worst. I’m still tempted to find a hotel in town just to get away from here. My cabin is just fine, a little musty and over flowery to make it smell not shut up but I’m not happy about the whole situation. *edit. There is no office/check in on the property.
