Circle K — Local services in Dayton

Got someone on the phone to help with a in-store-issue a bit ago. Worker was a bit dismissive to my husband when he got there not wanting to hear him out. the same woman there was disrespectful otp and wouldn’t let me speak to any sort of person above her when I called bc they work 8 hours a day? Said if I wanted to talk to a manager I’d have to contact corporate first. She wouldn’t let me finish a sentence stating she can’t “receive training over the phone” and “we are not a restaurant” the tone was condescending and unkind. Was just trying to get an order that I had paid money for through an app that I had used and gone to other Circle K locations and been able to fulfill. Super disappointing because my husband went all the way there after Working almost 10 hours with nothing to eat. Obviously not her fault that she didn’t know about the app (toogoodtogo) however the way that she spoke to me and handled the situation could’ve been done a lot better. I worked more than a few industries and stores and a good tip is don’t treat paying customers like we’re a waste of your time or children when you’re getting paid to do the job....

Not sure what to expect. Sometimes they have food out which is fresh. Then other days it’s like today they hardly have any food out. And what’s out has been there for hrs hot dogs been on roller grill so long they are shriveled up and over cooked. I just bought the only cheeseburger they had left not realizing it has been sitting there for over six hours sticker said. According to the sticker on the cheeseburger I bought it should’ve been thrown away or discarded an hour ago, or more and yet without realizing it, I was able to buy it. store attendant didn’t say anything. I’m starting to consider this place unreliable for lunch. Where it might be better for me to go to a McDonald’s not only will the food be fresh, but even a little less expensive even. The Circle K is gotten expensive on their food.. as they raised their prices a lot recently. And for food that’s been sitting there for 6hrs. The sandwich I bought said it was made at around 2:00pm. It’s now 8:00pm...

With the way the employees treat me, I don’t even want to give them my 79¢ for a cup of ice. It’s like they don’t even want to acknowledge me when I’m staring them right in their face trying to get assistance. It happened specifically today with the TWO old white men who were working today at 7pm. Customer service is complete trash. Who knows, maybe if my skin color was different, the review would be too. Fortunately I can’t change that 🤷🏾‍♀️ Only brought up skin color because their customer service was completely opposite with the people in the store who didn’t look like me. It’s okay tho. This store ain’t...
