Corner Grocery — Local services in Dayton

July 22, 2021 around 6am, I stopped by Corner Grocery to fill up, wash up, and get a cup of coffee. I'd driven through the previous day and night from Minnesota on my way to a hotel in Lovell, WY. My 1st encounter ever in Wyoming was with a lovely woman managing the cash register who flashed a lovely smile, and "good morning" greeting. After washing up, I got a cup of coffee, and went to pay for it. This woman said the coffee was on her and to have a nice day. She wouldn't take payment and was so unbelievably gracious. What a lovely 1st memory of Wyoming and its lovely people. It set the tone for the rest of our vacation in Lovell, Cody, and West Yellowstone.

I love that I still remember that wonderful woman/cashier and encounter at the Corner Grocery years ago. Because of her and the many others that followed, I will always hold Wyoming close to my heart.

This is a business that gets it right, treating their customers like family! A rare jewel where I come from so please support them...

Nice little corner grocery and gas station. They had a really amazing variety of liquors—local bottlers along with the brand names. Upon recommendation from the helpful staff, we picked up a bottle of the Koltiska which turned out to be a wonderful sipping liquor. Too small of a bottle though, we finished it too soon! I love this place. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The store has a wide and surprisingly large inventory. I purchase ice cream for less than the grocery store price in Sheridan, and the produce here is of a higher quality than the grocery stores in Sheridan.
