The Cheese Place — Local services in Dayton

The chocolate candies are so delicious! We visit Massanutten resort every year for Thanksgiving and for the last few years, we have always stopped in the cheese place to grab a variety of cheeses, spices/seasonings, and chocolate treats! Of my favorite chocolate treats are the chocolate mint squares (they give Andes candies a run for their money) and their peanut butter cups. Quality products. There are several types of cheeses, crackers, jars of jams, butter, jellies, special spoons, spices, candies, honey, beans, teas, pasta, flour, baked goods, nuts, dried fruit, cheese balls, etc. They have homemade pimento cheese and cheese balls too if that is something you like. The store is very nice. The employees were friendly. That's were the positives end. First, this is not a cheese place. It's mostly bulk candy and other sugar treats. Second, the cheeses are awful. They do not taste like what is labeled, have little taste and the few that do, are similar to high priced American cheese. Third, we purchased several other groceries and all of them were subpar with little flavor or bad flavor. I can not recommend this store unless the only thing you are looking...
