Just finished my 100th session with CrossFit Diehard and got my patch! This a great CrossFit Gym led by WORLD FAMOUS coach and overall nice guy Barry âBozManâ Boswell.
The gym offers plenty of space and lots of classes. From early morning 5:30 am classes to late hours 7:00 pm classes.
The workout are well structured. Your typical class is divided into strength/olympic weightlifting and a WOD afterwards. We do cycles of about 3 months. Once or twice a week you have endurance/cardiovascular If you attend classes all week youâll end up working every single muscle group every week, including your endurance. No matter what level youâre on you can complete any workout with modifications and scaling to your fitness, strength and ability.
The coaches are great, Haley, Kariann, Louisa and Morgan offer as much help as you need to modify and adapt the workouts according to your ability, fitness and strength level.
The gym is always clean, the equipment is always being changed, old used weights are always being replaced, rusted old barbells are always being exchanged for new ones so you can keep your expensive gym clothes rust and dirt free.
The people here are wonderful. From the Boz to the coaches to the crossfiters. You really feel like youâre part of a community.
The gym offers challenges thru out the year to keep you motivated and engaged to achieve your fitness and...
Read moreCrossFit Diehard is the best gym in Volusia County. Iâve been to most gyms in Daytona/Ormond and this hands down the best. The owner, Boz is always putting money back into the gym and members. Diehard has the best of the best training bars, rogue bikes, rowers, jump ropes, ROMWOD mats, bumper plates, kilos, you name it. If you donât see it and tell him that you wish for it; âpoofâ there it is. The gym is spotlessly clean (before, during and after Covid) and has well-stocked bathrooms with a spotless shower for the on-the-go folks. The people who come to Diehard are of all strengths, ages, background, and we all mesh flawlessly in class. There is no feeling of separation of ability, age, work capacity or even what language you speak. CrossFit Diehard as a unit, from the owner, coaches, to the members are undoubtedly the most selfless group of people youâll ever meet. If you go anywhere else, you are basically throwing your money in the trash. Lastly, Coach Boz writes the programming, follows the gym programming and all the coaches attend classes with members and donât work out on their own. Coach Boz believes in his programming, and I do too. Come to the gym. Get strong. Get Fit....
Read moreI joined Crossfit Diehard in February on their 30 day trial they were offering and I didn't leave! In my opinion a box is just a box and they are all probably close to the same in terms of size, equipment etc. However it's the people that make the box, everyone at Diehard has been awesome! From the coaches to the veterans to the rookies like me, they all look out for each other. All the coaches make sure you have proper form (first and foremost), knowledge, they will push you (safely) out of your "comfort zone", everyone makes it fun and always ensures you are getting the most out of your workout everytime. As if that wasn't enough to know I had picked the right box, then came covid quarantine. Diehard went above and beyond between lending out practically all of the equipment, offering zoom classes 2x per day, creating weekly challenges with rewards and additional programs to help keep our bodies and minds in check during this difficult time. I could go on and on about how awesome Diehard is, how happy, proud and grateful that I am in my (pressure free) decision to give diehard a chance. So whether your a veteran or a rookie, Crossfit Diehard will...
