Even though I am not overly fond of Spring Market stores this one is extremely clean and well stocked. I was surprised to go in late the day before Thanksgiving and the store was not emptied out and dirty. Good wine selection, veggies were fresh and while I was shopping for last minute items there was someone stocking items. Employees are always friendly and helpful. It is a bit more expensive on some items than a regular grocery store but way cheaper than a convenience store. I never buy meat that is prepackaged but like to shop in a store with a meat market and a butcher on hand to cut meat and answer questions. The reason i didn't give 5 stars is the price of things , they seem to be high prices on there products compared to wal mart and Family dollar. They do have a senior citizen discount on tuesday and Thursday that helps on the price of things. Its a good place to shop except in my opinion is to high priced. Read moreAfter Walmart pulled out years ago with their community stores, it left a vacuum in DeKalb. But thanks to Spring there is a quaint grocery and gas store back again. They have a plethora of items at a great cost. And for us it's nice to drive about 3 miles rather than 20-30 to get the day to day needs. Everyone is friendly and the place is always clean and organized. And they run a number of items on clearance for greater deals. Fuel prices are comparable if not better than some in the atea.
