AFTER ACTION REPORT! Three riders today. John, Mike and Claude. We departed on time and arrived at Venice Pizza in DeKalb Texas. Good roads, great weather. The Pizza was awesome. We then rode over to the WILLAMS HOUSE MUSEUM, downtown DeKalb. I am always amazed at the hidden jewels that can be found in these small Texas towns. The Museum in on almost an acre. With multiple buildings and an extensive presentation of the life and times of the community, and a eager staff to bring the story to life, it was a fulfilling experience. Local Judge Joni Haldeman left her workplace to open the museum, then took me to Dan Blocker's gravesite and the Ricky Nelson airplane crash site. I had a travel trailer attached so she even used her own vehicle! Great host and promoter of her town, thanks! Highly recommend...
