Water Lover's Retreat — Local services in DeBary

We were looking for a fun way to celebrate my wife's birthday and she wanted "sun and water." I happened to find Water Lover's Retreat on Google and am I glad we did. I've rented boats in the past and it's always been a mixed bag of experiences where sometimes the boat's weren't great or the location wasn't awesome.

Water Lover's Retreat, on the other hand, was by far the BEST experience I've ever had renting a boat. Mark, the owner, is professional, friendly and helpful. The boat was immaculate for a rental. It was clean, and dry when we arrived and I could tell it was well maintained. Pricing was very reasonable and the St. John's river is beautiful and a great place for less experienced boaters. Mark made sure we were comfortable with the boat so I have no problems recommending him for less experienced captains. The marina was easy to get to with ample parking that felt secure.

Pricing was extremely reasonable and Mark did a great job making sure he explained all the costs up front in detail so there were no surprises at the end of the trip. He made sure paying was above board and provided receipts for everything.

If you're looking for a fun way to spend the day on the water, I'd highly recommend calling Mark and talking to him. We'll definitely be renting from Water Lover's...

Myself and a group of friends enjoyed Captain Mark and his boat last Sunday afternoon. This boat was the perfect size to have 3 sets of couples or two families with kids. The boat had covering for shade when needed and a good speed level to enjoy a nice breeze as you take in the scenery.

Very clean, like brand new clean Mark was very knowledgeable of the area and let us enjoy whatever it was that we wanted to do. Music and boats go together and he had a nice size bluetooth speaker. Everyone could hear the tunes even when crusing at max speed. (Which is a must to keep your vibe) A cooler was on board for all of our goodies. Just grab some ice bags from the marina and you are all set. As well as whatever it is that you are getting twisted with! Plenty of cup holders around the boat. Clutch for team drinking on the water! The Price is great to split between friends So easy and convenient to load and unload We will definitely be renting again in the near future. Super simple with a small deposit and pay the rest when you are done Mark even got us extra life vest for one some friends with kids joined us. No charge. Total class wont be disappointed with the professionalism from Captain Mark but yet had a fun smiling side to him.

We had a great experience from start to finish. From planning the trip and getting information Mark was VERY helpful. The day of our rental my family was feeling under the weather. Mark was completely understanding and allowed us to pick a different date when everyone was feeling better. Yesterday we made it out to Marks boat. My partner wanted to drive the boat but has no experience on the water. Mark changed his whole day and actually gave Scott lessons on the boat👍🏻👍🏻 We had an amazing time. It was just what the doctor ordered. Sun, fun and fresh air. Thank you Mark for helping our day turn into a magical one. I would like to add to this post that I did look around at other rental places before we went with Mark. He has the best prices for the best boats hands down. His boat looks like a brand new boat! They are clean and sound system works great 😊 We will be renting again soon. I think the sunset cruise sounds unbelievable and would love to be out on the water...
