Best spring in the area. Free. Awesome. Rope swings . Huge 4 ft fishes. Cave entrances visible to free divers. Cool area to swim Hands down the best spring in the area! The water is crystal clear and beautifully clean—perfect for swimming, floating, and relaxing. Floaties were super helpful and easy to use, and the jumping area added some extra fun. There’s even a free dive/scuba spot for those who want to explore deeper. And the best part? We saw a mermaid! Such a magical experience. Can’t recommend this place enough—truly a hidden gem!

Had some friends visiting who wanted to go here, had no idea we had this gem so close to us. Water was cold with an average temperature of 65-68° F all year long. Lots of people, but it was also the last weekend before school reopen from Summer break. Park is free to enter and parking spots fill up fast. There are also picnic tables and grills available.

Great spring with decent space for lounging. There are two docks in the water in the deeper side. Pretty good spot for family fun, but rain can make the water super muddy. Attached is the view on a muddy day

I go to Morrison springs a lot and I've noticed more and more gas propelled boats coming into the marked swimming area and fishing!

That really concerns me because the mouth of the spring is there and I noticed a gas film on the surface of the water. The picnic are need more attention and there is a bunch of trash everywhere including the water. Cans, wrappers, you name it. I wish Florida water management would enforce something and better maintain the area. I did see some maintenance men there but all they did was empty the trash cans and maybe check the bathrooms. It's a beautiful spring. I don't want to...

I was there in early '70's. Feb.'73. 87°- clear as a bell, had gone into 2nd cave down 2 - 3rd cave. Came back up. What an experience!! Stood on underwater tree to make my husband think it was shallow where I was standing. He took step towards me. . .sank like rock 15' deep. Ready 2 drown me. It was sooo funny!! One of the best days of my life! He passed away 07/ 2021....
