They send product that fails out of the box and then tell you some electronics last years and some last seconds, you'll have to buy a new one, no wonder their warranty policy is so short.
I work with repairing electronics, varying from computers to industrial to medical equipment and I can tell you that's the biggest load of baloney. If you know what your doing and your sourcing from reliable sources, your product lasts, if your not then you should at the very least do the right thing and offer a refund or replacement.
This business was originally started by their dad and I don't know how he handled the company but it was handed off to his sons and theirs a common stereotype with these stories that the inheritors generally run what they didn't work for poorly, facts.
Edited 3 months is standard for retailers but not refurbishers, this place refurbishes and I do not believe they are authorized by the original manufacturer, this means they find heavily used items that other places do not want and then try to fix them without being trained by the original manufacturer to do so, "It's your nephew who fixed grandmas computer once".
They did not provide tech support they simply said if it doesn't work then it's broke and that I'd need to buy a new one without any troubleshooting although looking online there was many options to troubleshoot the issue, although I have not found one that solves my problem and because time is money, I bought a quality Linksys model for $35, which is what they should have provided from the start. For a $10 Wifi USB adaptor from China they sure are going to die on this petty hill of incompetency.
As far as reviews, I see 28 here and they are mostly 5 and 1 star, which is an inorganic distribution and makes you wonder the validity of...
Read moreI ordered the Dell Optiplex dual screen system to use for work at home plus to just browse the web. It came with two matching Dell monitors, the tower, and the keyboard and mouse. It also came with a wireless adapter and two speakers that weren't advertised. The adapter came with a disk to set wifi up, but wasn't needed.
Best of all, the package came with two pages of easy to use instructions that walked me through the setup, so I was able to do it all myself the first time. Both screens fired up, I went through the Microsoft setup and entered the activation code for Windows, plugged in the wifi adapter and here I am typing this review. It's a refurbished model, but we use refurbished models at work and they do just fine. I asked the guy who does IT for our company and he recommended this package and so far I couldn't be more pleased.
I plan on ordering...
Read moreThis is the 4th refurbished desktop computer I've bought from JSM. I keep ordering from them because their prices are very good and all 4 of the computers have had no issues. The one I'm using now I bought in 2017 and it still works great. The instructions are very simple and clear, and the one or 2 times I called they were extremely helpful. There are plenty of buying options, so reordering from the same place should tell you how satisfied I am with their product...
