THEY'RE SELLING RAW MILK THAT'S DILUTED WITH WATER OR SOMETHING ELSE AND I TOLD THEM ABOUT IT ONCE BUT THEY REPLIED SAYING "THEY DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THAT" SO I BOUGHT RAW MILK FROM 2 OTHER PLACES 1 IN NY & 1 IN NJ THAT ARE SELLING IT JUST LIKE MAPLE JERSEYS DO AS "PETS MILK" AND BOTH PLACES HAD GREAT MILK THAT HAS PLENTY OF FAT, HAS 2 WEEKS SHELF LIFE, AND BOTH PLACES THE MILK MAKES FROTH WHEN I ADDED IT TO THE FROTHER BUT SUGAR MAPLE JERSEYS MILK STAYS FLAT LIKE WATER WHICH IS A CLEAR INDICATION THAT IT'S DILUTED. WHEN I TOLD THEM ABOUT IT AGAIN AND ASKED "HOW COME YOUR MILK STAYS FLAT WHEN I TRY TO FROTH IT BECAUSE OTHER FARM'S MILK MAKES A FULL, THICK FROTH LIKE IT SHOULD?" AND IMMEDIATELY I WAS ATTACKED, THREATENED, THEY WENT ON A FULL OFFENSIVE MODE, TOLD ME THEY'LL REPORT THE OTHER FARMS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE WHICH CLEARLY CONFIRMS THAT THEY'RE DILUTING THEIR MILK BECAUSE IF THEY DIDN'T, THEY WOULDN'T HAVE REACTED LIKE THEY DID. IF THEY WEREN'T DILUTING IT THEY HAD NO REASON TO REACT THE WAY THEY DID BECAUSE I DID NOT COME OFF DISRESPECTFUL OR SPOKE IN AN UNPROFESSIONAL MANNER SO, THEY HAD NO REASON TO SPEAK THE WAY THEY DID AND THAT ONLY PROVES THAT THEY'RE DOING SOMETHING SHADY. THIS WAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST MILK BUYING EXPERIENCE & THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED ESPECIALLY WHEN ASKING THE BUSINESS OWNER WHY THEIR PRODUCT IS NOT PERFORMING LIKE IT SHOULD!!! IF THIS IS HOW THEY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS & THIS IS WHAT THEY DO TO THEIR MILK, I CAN ONLY IMAGINE WHAT ELSE THEY DO TO THE OTHER ITEMS THEY HAVE FOR SALE 😱🤮🤢. WHAT ELSE DO THEY DO TO THEIR PRODUCTS THAT WE DON'T KNOW OF?!?! I WILL STAY AWAY FROM THIS FARM FAR FAR AWAY AND ENCOURAGE YOU TO DO THE SAME. I WAS GOING TO USE THIS MILK TO MAKE A PROBIOTIC FERTILIZER FOR PLANTS BUT I WOULD NOT WANT TO GIVE ANY PLANTS THEIR MILK LET ALONE GIVING IT TOY PETS OR EVEN WORSE HUMANS. BEWARE... We are big fans of SMJ farm- (even before they had a larger social media presence) - it’s obvious that an immense amount of love and care and knowledge goes into the animals, and so much pride and hard work into the farm. The farm store is all sourced from SMJ and other local farms, the owner and her family make a major effort to welcome visitors during their seasonal events and during their advertised farm store hours. This is a local working family farm- not a chain or giant conglomerate - it is run by the farmer and her family. So when Heidi greets you with a big smile- you have to know she has been up since before the sun working her tail off, and there is no team to help with website and social - that’s all her and her family in ‘spare’ time- I give her all the credit in the world for opening up her home and farm to the community. My son loves going to see “the moo’s” and he always has a positive experience at the farm, and we love supporting this local business and community farm. The prices are fair, the people are kind, the products are excellent, the seasonal events are perfect to add to your traditions, and who doesn’t love visiting your local farm and meeting the animals? Grateful they are a part of our community....

This is our favorite ice cream spot since they have opened! Ice cream is delicious so this was a very unfortunate experience. When they 1st opened they would pack the pints with a dome lid so you were really getting your moneys worth. Recently they have changed to a flat lid which is understandable because they were definitely giving you more than a pint with the dome lid. I went there today with my 20 month old son to pick up our usual 4 pints for the week - like I said the ice cream is fantastic- so I wasn’t really paying attention to the girl behind the counter packing the pints because I was keeping my 20 month old distracted. When I came home and unloaded the bag I realized that the pints are not even filled! the picture I have attached shows she didn’t even fill it!! So disappointing definitely feel a little ripped off because we paid for a full pints but only got 3/4 of a pint. I will give them one more try but if this is how they are going to be doing things they definitely are...
