Having my amp fixed at CW Guitar Audio turned out to be an excellent decision. The rates for his services are very affordable and he is honest. After picking my amp up from him I am very pleased with how it sounds.

My Fender Blues Junior’s reverb was only working intermittently. It was really starting to annoy me because one of the main reasons I chose to buy the amp is the spring reverb (which sounds amazing when it works). I was going to try to fix it myself and then realized I was in over my head.

I found CW Guitar Audio with a simple google search and reached out through their website. Corry got back to me the same day and put me on his waiting list. I described the issue I was having with the reverb and he explained to me some design flaws with the amp that he could fix for very little extra.

I was able to drop my amp off to him a lot sooner than I expected, which was great because I’m actively in a band and need to use it every week. I dropped the amp off around 7:30pm on a Thursday night. He worked on it early the following morning and it was ready to be picked up before noon. I was stunned by the less than 24-hour turnaround.

Best of all, he said he couldn’t find anything wrong with my reverb tank. All he did was clean up the potentiometers, fix the low bias issue and redo some connections that needed it. Because he couldn’t find anything wrong with the reverb he charged me less than his bench fee. It was very nice of him.

I played my amp for about 15-30 minutes after getting it home and it sounds awesome. None of my controls are crackling anymore and you can feel the difference when you turn the knobs. The reverb is working really well now.

I bought this amp used from Reverb for about $425. It definitely sounds better now than it did when I got it. I imagine it sounds like it did when it was brand new back in 2012 (maybe even better?).

I had contacted him to set up a drop off. A few days later he happened to be traveling in close proximity to me and offered to meet up so I could save a trip!

He had my amp repaired within 48 hours! That including replacing damaged components and some wiring.

I was able to pay and pickup at my convenience. Which is another nice touch.

I was kept aware of the entire process of the repair and cost in real time.Which is awesome!

Working with Corry has become the best asset on the gear side I have come across in the last 20 years. I ended up sending 3 amps over, and all came back sounding beyond huge. Corry worked on a tube driven 83 Music Man, a 2016 Marshall DSL & 90’s transistor bass head, with all 3 coming back in stellar fashion, producing a sound that just blooms. The unique thing I’ve found here is the listening , counciling, education & execution of giving you “that sound”. Should you decide to update your treasure, this is the guy. His cables are beyond killer also. Corry is 50% lower than the “platinum” suppliers on CUSTOM lengths, with specs that exceed them (see the website) made in the USA … you will sound better after working with this...
