Destella Dance Centre has given my daughter a healthy place to grow not only as a dancer but as young lady. The community of parents and dancers is extremely positive and supportive. The older dancers serve as role models for the younger girls and show up to their 7am competition times because they are taught not only to dance but to be a team and love one another. The teachers are hard working and dedicated. Destella Dance Centre is also teaching the dancers the importance of giving back and danced for a charity this year where together the dancers raised money for JDRF while doing what they love, dancing! In a world like today, its important to teach our children to love and give back, and this is what makes Destella Dance Centre different from ordinary studios. You know, I’m going through the reviews of DeStella, and wonder how some of these parents, who have posted negative reviews, are raising their children. “Alexis yells at the children., or “Alexis is mean”. You people do realize that when your children grow up to be adults, the world isn’t going to sugarcoat anything for them. Alexis and company are preparing these young ladies and gentlemen for the real world. My daughter has become more confident about herself due to people like Ms Caroline, Alexis, and other teachers at this studio. I commend DeStella for the way they approach teaching dance. I only have one knock, when it comes to DeStella. I wish they had an online system to allow parents to pay for the tuition. Other than that, I give DeStella 5 stars(would give them 10...

Update 5/20/2023 Destella continues to be a gem for Export for dancing!!! Highly recommend!!!

Update 9/29/2022 This studio was recognized as winning the World's this summer in New York City!!! This is the quality we have right here in our own community!!!!

Destella is a gem found in Export. After moving here we searched for a studio and finally found and fell in love with everything we have experienced here!!!

Both the competitive and non competitive are the best!!!
