McCarter-Dallman Farm and Garden Center — Local services in Delran Township

I had called and asked about specific plants, Grape Timeless Coral Bells and Legend of the Fall Bottle Brush. I spoke to Dennis and he checked stock and said that they had both items. Since I had called several other local garden centers, I asked if he was sure. Dennis said that he has both plants and they would be located by the barn when my husband and I came in.

I called on Saturday and spoke with Diane and apprised her of the situation. I told her that my husband and I would not be able to come in until Sunday and if they would hold the plants for us. Diane took my name and phone number and said that she would speak to Dennis and if there was a problem, she would call me back. Since I didn't hear from her, I thought that the plants were held and put aside.

On Sunday, in 93 degree heat and high humidity, we looked near the barn to pick up our plants. Then I went in the store and asked the man behind the counter if they had plants held with my name. He had no clue! I asked to see Dennis or Diane and was told that both are off on Sunday. I was livid! Here I was told that they had the specific plants that I had been seeking, and then we couldn't locate them. We checked every greenhouse and table and could not find either of them!

I called today and asked to speak with Dennis or Diane. Of course neither of them are working today! Then I asked if either of them was the owner and was told no. Then I asked who is the owner and who is in charge? The woman said that no one was in charge at the moment. This gave me no recourse, but to write a review of the situation in order to prevent this from happening to anyone else!

Their prices are inflated and they don't tell the truth, but just want to get you in the garden center and hope that you'll spend a lot of money! I will never go...

Purchased firewood from McCarter-Dallman today and confirmed ahead of time that they would deliver to Moorestown. Spoke with the driver right before he left to confirm details of the address.

Over an hour passes beyond the drop off time and I hear nothing. I call them back and they tell me the driver got frustrated because he couldn't find the address so he just decided to go back. They say he couldn't put it into his navigation yet the address is easily found on Google Maps, and I would've happily given him directions if he had just called me.

They're not willing to redeliver and frankly don't seem interested in my business..A shame since I would purchasing at least a cord of wood a year. I'll have to...
