Do not use the website that is on the sign by the drive way. It currently doesn't work like it is suppose to. So park your semi, and walk up to the guard shake. You will need your appointment number, this is a 5 digit number that is suppose to be given to you by your dispatcher. You'll then give them your phone number, and they will call you from the office to tell you where to dock and where to walk in to give them the bills.
Now for us, we showed up 2 hours ahead of our appointment time. They where able to get us in an hour early. The guard was super friendly and helpful. We docked our truck, walked inside and gave the paperwork to the lady at the recieving window, also extremely friendly. They began working on us right away, and seemed to finish us pretty quick. Now when they are done working on you, they are suppose to call you to tell you which man door to get your paperwork at. So we waited.....and waited.....and waited. I checked in at the window to get a status report, and the truck said 97% done. But no one seemed to know why. So I went back over to my truck to wait, still locked in at the dock. The next shift came in, unknown to me, so when I checked in again, the new gentleman at the window seemed to have no clue what I was talking about, so he called down on the radio, again the floor workers where unsure what was going on, so they looked into it. To then figure out I was in fact done, the load was verified. People where just being lazy and not doing their jobs. We waited for 5 hours......I would deliver here again to give them another chance, but won't go...
Read moreAbout to be 3hrs on dock. Probably looking at 4 or more because they keep pausing 20 minutes between skids. I see mixed reviews, mostly good.. my experience hasn’t been so good regarding unloading time. Trucks come and go, empty or loaded and gone in minutes. Somehow I got me the only slow forklift operator at door 13? Literally trucks bump the dock and 20-30 mins they leave.. I guess I’m today’s sucker 🤣
FYI we have places to be… it would be nice if we’re actively unloading not pausing 20 mins between skids.
I don’t understand how paying 2-3 hours of labor to unload a truck is profitable for a company. Doesn’t work for the truck driver and sure shouldn’t be financially beneficial for...
Read moreCan’t say one thing bad about this place. Arrived the evening before my appointment. The guard girls were friendly and helpful. Check in is done on a computer kiosk. You’ll need your driver’s license and cell phone on hand. Bills are scanned in electronically to receiving clerk. About 10 minutes later, I got a call asking if I want unloaded tonight or on the morrow. She then texted me my door assignment. Unloading went smoothly and there is no lumper. The only thing that may cause a problem with some drivers is the fact that POD is issued electronically. They do not provide you with a signed hard copy. There is ample room to park outside the gate before or after delivery. Great job...
