Agway of Cape Cod — Local services in Dennis

Been shopping at agway for twenty years or so and have spent countless amounts of money on dog food, chicken feed and supplies, plants, Christmas trees, you name it. I feel it is quite safe to say I am a good customer. I had to run in the other day to grab one item and was WARNED by several employees “the store was closed and what do I need” . The store was literally open for 8 more minutes, and I had my purchase and was on the road at 4:58. It was so unnecessary and unpleasant. Clearly I wasn’t lingering as I was practically running as to not hold them up. I think it would behove them to realize they are not the only gig around. Will be driving the few extra minutes to Mid-cape supply or to Tractor Supply from now in. I draw the line at supporting a local buisness when they treat there year round customers like they are a**holes for shopping at the store during...

While the selection is great, the ambiance of the setting is perfect for selecting just the right product, and the outdoor staff very knowledgeable and helpful about selecting just the right plants for any condition or purpose, I only give Agway 3 stars because of the horrible experience I had during checkout. Coming up to the register with a loaded cart of plants, one register was open and the other was being cashed out with three staff members behind the counter. We asked if we could quickly look out front for one more item, while there were more people behind us in line and others still shopping outside for plants, and were told quite rudely "No, we're closed, you need to check out now." We should have taken our business elsewhere, where we would not be discouraged from purchasing...

This is one of best garden centers in Dennis. Tons of plants and vegetables and supplies. Place gets do busy in planting season that police help direct traffic. As many locals know, once tourist season kicks in making a left turn becomes a challenge, so it's nice to see our men and women in blue lending a hand. Family run place with large indoor center thats nicely stocked with all sorts of gadgets and gizmos that make having a green thumb more enjoyable!...
