Quiet place, and the facility is about 12 acres. Many students go from the main campus to this facility to get their work done in a more efficient manner. It's about four miles north of the main campus so you have to drive or ride the shuttle to go to some of the engineering classes. Lots of parking and easy to park near the building if you come early enough.

Go somewhere else to study engineering. The program is a complete joke. I'm a senior electrical engineering student, most of the professors are too preoccupied in their research to actually teach, or respond to emails. Additionally, they have a bunch of first year professors who are totally clueless. Edit: they also don't do an adequate job weeding out the freeloaders. they're passing and curving grades for lots of people who shouldn't be engineers. Very low standards for what passes for an "engineer" nowadays...

Good campus with a diverse crowd of both students and lecturers. Many quiet nooks to study and focus with a good mix of social areas for getting distracted from your studies. UNT has done a great job increasing student activity here in recent years, it seems every week they have a different booth set up handing out free stuff, especially towards the end of the semester. My only complaint would be that parking is pretty expensive at $250...

It is totally seperated from the main campus, but you can easily get there by DP buses which have many stops around the main campus. Not many options for restaurants or cafes. Buses are available until midnight, just make sure to download the app or the timetables for the bus routs.( They change sometimes due to road constructions). Also the dp buses have a stop...
