BEWARE: FALSE ADVERTISING ! January 14 2023. Sirloin tip roast was advertised for 4.49 pound. I had my husband pick up two. When he got home I discovered they were 5.99 a pound. I called and asked if they were on sale. I was told they were sold out. I told him my husband had just picked up two.Then the story was they we’re about to run out SO THEY TOOK THEM OFF SALE they didn’t won’t to run out. When you have a product on sale for a certain time period does it not remain on sale until you run out or the sale period is up ? I was told they would get the owner to the phone which didn’t happen. This place doesn't even deserve the one star I gave it. I witnessed a man what appeared to be bacon cuts from his pick up truck in to the store to the so called meat department. I've heard of fresh, however I've witnessed this more than once. The selection before and during the pandemic has been terrible You buy potatoes. You get them home only to realize most of them are rotten I'd stay clear from here Not to take more of your time. They also take the chicken livers which you can get them anywhere. Ive been told for three years since living in Lexingron to get meat at Laniers. Ive bought my meat in Stokesdale for 18 years. But its a long drive to Stokesdale. So Fri I went to Laniers and bought their 80% ground beef and a WHOLE boneless Ribeye. Spent $97. Well all I can say is I will be driving back to Stokesdale. This was the worse meat Ive ever had.
