Often times needing a storage unit comes at us for reasons that aren't always the best of times, you have to downsize, lost your home, separation , or in my case total loss of my business shop from a storm. Placing our personal belongings in someone else's "care" or property isn't the most comforting feeling and in my case came with a lot of anxiety. I had called several places but the first place to call me back was Moove In. I can't say enough good about what Jarrette did for me as far as understanding my situation and making me feel better about having to move my entire business to another location. He not only rented me a unit but took his time when i didn't even ask hom to amd showed me different units trying to figure out what would best suit my needs given my situation. He Could have just said "well i have this size or that size, what do you want"? But he didn't he showed me multiple units, even suggesting the cheapest of the units to best suit what i would be needing it for. He came with me to make sure my security code woukd work to get me in and even swept my unit(it wasn't dirty) and made a minor repair that he could have made me wait for maintenance to do . So I know Moove In may have a 4 star rating but its definately FIVE STAR service. I have worked with the public for more than 25 years and customer service is everything in my opinion. So despite not being very pleased with my current situation or having to have a rental unit i could nt be more pleased with my experience and how it was handled. He also is completely knowledgeable about ALL aspects of the business and how it's run. He Could have tried to "sell" me extras or made more money from me but he was totally upfront about how to save!!!! Oh and did i mention FREE MONTH that's right you get a free month(not sure if this is always in effect) but what's better then free?? I am very unimpressed with my experience here. This place is supposed to be climate controlled and yet most of my belongings were covered with black mold. I had to junk my refrigerator that I had just paid off right before I put it in there. My brand new dining room table that I paid off after it was put in there needs to be sanded down and refinished. I had to throw away our mattresses because of mold. There is a mouse hole in the back of the unit and mouse droppings in my boxes and boxes were chewed through. Also, I found a roach coming out of one of the boxes. I've never had roaches plus my belongings were in storage for a year. So far I've only found that one, but I haven't unpacked everything yet. My deep freezer is no longer working because of mold in the engine. I had been paying for insurance on the unit, but it only covers up to $2,000, and you are expected to come up with a $100 deductible even though this is 100% their fault. I will never use this place again, and highly recommend no one else use it if you do not want to lose all of your belongings. I am adding pictures of the refrigerator below. I rented with Moove In over the summer for about 2.5 months. When I retrieved my belongings in July, the majority of my furniture, boxes, clothes, etc. were covered in white, black and yellow molds (let alone the dozens of spider eggs). I immediately contacted Moove In about this and they assured me that the manager would soon get back to me. Not only has nothing been done, they never tried to contact me (over a month ago). I emailed as well and no response. There is no answer when you call Lewistown, the phone goes straight to the company's service and they just tell you the manager will call, but they don't.
