Farmer In the Dale Produce — Local services in Desert Hot Springs

We stopped in Pam Desert for a few supplies and decided to go in Farmer in the Dale as we were walking by. What a gem of a place this is! Lots of fresh produce to choose from and several fruits we have never heard of but decided to buy (we already tried the new fruits and they didn't disappoint). The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Prices were clearly marked. The store was clean. They even have cold bottles of sodas along with other refrigerated items. Not only is the fruit fresh and amazing the owner is equally incredible. He was so friendly and made us feel like family, giving us gifts of extra fruit and charm. We went back a few hours later to get mangos and asked him where to go for lunch. He directed us to a place where we had the best food we’ve ever eaten, which of course makes sense as his shop would only recommend food comparable to the fruit he sells. Excellent oasis in an otherwise desolate area....

We used to live in Desert Hot Springs and stumbled upon their farmers market infront of Caliente Hot Springs. We were instantly hooked and went every week. They have the best tasting produce we have ever had and they turned us onto many new varieties that we had never tried before (Kiwanis and yellow dragon fruit to name a few). My husband recently drove almost an hour just to load up on some delicious stuff on our last trip...
