Came here for a pre-valentines day dinner. The setting was amazing! They had a harpist playing beautiful love songs set up in an open barn. The menu sounded amazing and my wife surprised me by already ordering my favorite (a steak). They had propane heaters going in the barn, but it was still very cold, especially for many of the women wearing short/medium skirts/dresses. That wasn't the worst though the food was subpar at best. My steak was burned and the service was slow to nonexistent. I have worked in the catering industry so I understand the difficulties of throwing events/parties, but it really wasn't up to par, sadly. We were one of the last people to get our food, even though we were one of the first ones to arrive and be seated. They already had our order, so there really was no reason to be late on serving our entrees, in addition, I will say again my rare/medium steak was burned to a crisp. All around me, the steaks were being sent back by others at the tables and I was seeing my wife already suffering due to the cold, so I just ate the food like a champ, even though I did comment to the waitress and she said that she was sorry. I observed some of the other attendees send their meals back and there were some people that had ordered the steak still when we left after eating dessert still not get theirs, so there is no way I was going to be waiting around for another 30-45 minutes on another steak. It really came down to expectations. I really wanted to love this place. It is a local farm that puts on events and I really enjoy what they offer the community, but sadly this is strike two in dealing with Mortimer Farms.

Great location for an event, the stage and the dance floor were amazing. Very beautiful foliage around the event area. Parking lot is dirt, but there is plenty of it!

Was more geared towards kids. Nice kid section. Waiting for tractor ride was an hour. Very busy place and unfortunately no veggies to pick and need to get there early to get pumpkins. Food trucks were awesome though. Also it was not wheelchair or stroller accessible. Really a place just for young kids. There were no places to sit besides food area but it was swarming with bees, so bring your EPI pen if your allergic as I am. No corn maze as advertised either, looks like they chopped it down. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this place and don't bring an older person if they need assistance of any kind or a place to sit...

It was packed. They could do this festival so much better. How about selling apple pie, pumpkin pie, and hot cocoa. Fall flowers, sunflowers etc. The little store in the barn needs to be so much bigger. The ponie exhibit needs improved, the ponies kept being whacked in the face by the bar, and an extra charge of 5.00 even though we paid 24.50 for admission. The food choices were very limited, should have had ALL the food trucks from all the cities come. This was a great event for small children but not the adults. Great corn mazes, one for easy and one more difficult. Farm employees...
