I drive a truck and had a dedicated route that took me by this exit 3 days a week. When I could, I scheduled time to stop. The evening crew is always courteous and serves a really good hamburger. My route changed, so I don't get by as much as I like. I recently stopped in, after several months, and found several of the same crew working. The young lady behind the food counter still remembered my order. It is Christmas, and I might be able to slip by there today. I look forward to the stop. I look for these small old style eateries. I'm old enough to remember dirt parking lots and screen doors that snapped shut behind you at the entrance. My great grandfather did business with Mr. Stuckey himself. We come through here all the time but unfortunately we won't be spending our time or money here anymore because of the way these 2...

There were wonderful collectable items to check out and a great snack selection. At the deli counter we got a 3 pc chicken strip meal with cheese sticks, ocra and potato wedges. The down sides are that it does feel quite old, the bathrooms could use a good upgrade, the door entry situation is confusing and sadly the ice cream "Baskin Robbins" section was closed. We WILL put this on our list...
