I really value a business that listens to their customers and acknowledges their experiences, good or bad. Aromas reached out to me after they’ve read I didn’t have a great experience the first time and offered a complimentary service. Carmen, my new aesthetician, provided me with amazing service and a relaxing facial experience, was much needed. She was very prepared for the appointment, very thorough in doing my facial and cleansing, had great communication and overall professional when it came to the service. The added LED treatment was lovely and felt very therapeutic to start off the weekend.
The customer service at Aromas is on top of their game and I really appreciate that they listened to me as a new client. I loved that my needs were catered to and that Carmen listened to my skin needs. The staff as before was very kind and I will be coming back for my next treatment with her next soon :)
/ I was looking on treating myself to a self-care day since I was dealing with hyperpigmentation and stress overall. I did read the reviews before booking and it seemed like a good studio based on what I read. I had booked online for a 60 minute full facial and microdermabrasion, priced at $150, about 3-4 days before coming to the appointment. As a first impression, the establishment is nice, clean and the staff was friendly.
However, when it came to my appointment for first facial with them, the steam machine wasn’t working during my session and some materials that were needed during sessions weren’t in the room. My esthetician, Maria, kept leaving the room to get those materials. When she left once I was completely fine with it, things happen, but she ended up having the leave the room about 5 times.
I mainly speak English and French, but I understood Spanish very little. My esthetician spoke mainly Spanish, and very little English. During our session Maria made conversation, however with the language barrier it was a bit hard to keep up. I didn’t know how to say I wanted a peaceful facial and not talk during it, because she was nice lady and I didn’t want to sound rude as she kept talking through the session. I was mainly looking for exfoliation and extraction during my session. She had suggested that I get a hydrafacial instead, which was $170, because she liked it more. She told me not to tell the front desk, I assumed it was a complimentary gesture for the inconvenience of her having to leave the room about 5 times to get materials during our sessions and also, for answering texts she was receiving during our sessions with audio reply. I personally feel like I didn’t get the full facial experience due to the time she kept leaving the room, and the disturbance. The hydrafacial was okay but she barely did any extractions on my full face.
As I got to the front desk, Maria told them I got a hydrafacial. I did pay the full price, and yes I also tipped. I didn’t complain, but that’s not what I had asked for initially and I kinda felt up-charged and shocked she told me not to tell but ended up telling them lol. It’s one of those experiences that you’re like whatever in the moment but when you replay in your mind and wish you said something back then.
I’ve been to other facials spas where I’ve had peaceful and amazing experiences and felt I truly paid for the services I received. I’m new to Doral so Aromas Med Spa was a new experience for me. Never had to deal with a pre-booked appointment where materials weren’t in the room, items not working, and staff responding to personal messages during sessions. It just seemed really unprofessional to me and I wouldn’t book their services at this location again solely based of my experience.

Read moreI called the Miami location to ask if they offered Morpheus8 treatment and to my surprise they had a special going on that month. I spoke to Paula which later I found was the manager of the location. I asked if there was a location near me and she referred me to the Weston Location but was not sure if they had the Special there. She was kind enough to call and verify and right away I scheduled my consultation. Upon my arrival at the Weston Center, I found everyone was very nice and attentive. It was their grand opening at this location and the place was full. I was called immediately and was greeted by the very sweet Esthetician Jailene. She made me feel very comfortable and did a great job. She was very patient as I had another procedure done that required me to move extra slow and required care, so her patience was greatly appreciated. . Paula checked in on me from time to time and brought me water to stay hydrated. They both reached out afterwards to make sure everything went well and to see how I was feeling and the procedure itself. Read moreUpdate: I accepted Alberto’s help. He spoke to Iris and the manager. His solution was adding more sessions and changing the settings in the machine that works for me. Unfortunately, I still have hair. Iris really tried her best this time to get the results I want. The hair is much thinner than before, but still growing. It’s so unfortunate that their laser didn’t work on me. Don’t know if it’s the machine, my body, or maybe we needed extra sessions and going even stronger. It’s a little frustrating because I had high hopes with them.
Original: I got laser hair removal on my underarms and Brazilian. Unfortunately, it didn’t work so well for me. I did 8 sessions, made sure I went monthly, and I still have hair on those areas. Is not as thick as before, but there’s still hair and I still have to shave at least once a week. If I want a smooth area, than I have to shave it more than once a week. Also, all the technicians work different, so that probably affects the results. I think the best one was Iris. I will say all the technicians were nice and made me feel comfortable.
