I’ve learned how driving is a fun activity but it can be dangerous and you need to be aware of your surroundings. I’ve learned the different road signs and signals do be able to drive safely. I’ve learned how important it is to stay more aware with motorcycles around, the rider is more exposed and could be injured more than a driver in a car. I’ve learned how to handle certain crossings like railroad crossing, school bus stops, and roundabouts. Another thing I learned was about drunk driving and how dangerous it can be not just for the driver but for the passengers or other vehicles. Alcohol slows your reaction time and it could be dangerous while behind the wheel. I’ve also learned a lot about Parking and the different ways you can park, like parallel parking and hill parking. I learned about some of the biggest distractions while driving, like texting, eating, and other passengers in the car. I enjoyed this course and learning how to be a better driver on the road....

Parent Review: I would definitely NEVER recommend this to program to anyone who actually has their child’s safety as a top priority. My daughter went through this “program” and I am disgusted. Pete signed her off prior to her even finishing her classroom work and it is also a state law to drive for 6 hours with an instructor prior to signing them off, which they did not do either. I ended up hiring another Drivers Ed teacher on his free time to do some extra driving with her to get her road ready because I knew something didn’t seem right when we took her out driving ourselves. This other instructor could not believe that she was signed off from a previous instructor. I am now having to sign my child up for Drivers Ed again (going through NICC) because of all of this. I guarantee we are not the only ones this has happened to so I really hope others speak up before our children are harmed due to the carelessness of this...

We were so happy to have found this program for our son and to have worked with Mr. Pearson. This was our 4th child taking drivers Ed but first time using Pearson U-Drive Right. Never have we experienced such a positive thorough program . He was THE BEST driving instructor, extremely calm and patient, knowledgeable, accommodating to schedules, and made learning to drive fun , safe, and an enjoyable experience. My son looked forward to his drives with Mr. Pearson . He felt confident each time and would mention all the great tips he learned when he drove with us .
