Buffalo City Distillery — Local services in Duck

Our tour was cancelled on the day-of due to not enough help at the distillery. We went for a visit anyhow and enjoyed some drinks at the bar - thank you Bonnie! HOWEVER ... Bonnie told me we would get a refund on Monday for our cancelled tour on Sunday. NOTHING. It has been over a week now with not only no refund, but NO contact from anyone at Buffalo City. I've sent emails. I've called and left messages. Nobody has bothered to reach out to me. Apparently, there is only ONE person at the distillery who has access to the computer that issues refunds and she has left us hanging. I know for a fact she has been at work. I know for a fact she received a message I left for her, BUT SHE HAS NOT BOTHERED TO CALL ME BACK or give me my money back. We planned our entire vacation (6 hours from home) because we wanted to tour the facility. Our trip was not a total bust, but I can promise I will never spend another dollar on Buffalo City products. Update: Finally made it to the Outer Banks for the first time and when I mentioned this place to a relative he said we had to see it on the trip home. It was not on the way but it was so worth it. This place is EXTREMELY well done. We arrived at 11 am when they opened and the lone employee Meghan was busy getting everything organized. She welcomed us in. The place is EXTRAORDINARY! Clean and sparkles like a diamond. The outdoor area is completely fenced in and very dog friendly. Meghan provided top level customer service and even made an offer menu drink for my relative. She also actively encouraged us to bring our dogs in. We did and she treated them like her own. We had a couple drinks and my relative bought multiple bottles for his home bar.

We had our first Coast Guard Helicopter Rescue Swimmer Association (CGHRSA.org) get together at Buffalo City Distillery Nov. 1st, 2024. I'd never visited before, and was completely blown away by how caring and helpful the entire staff was in helping us to make this event an incredible success. They did everything they could to help remove a lot of the worry. The venue is wonderful, we had good weather and had the back patio and yard to use, at no cost. The two man guitar band was very nice, our guests enjoyed the event with zero distractions. When we do this again, we'll make the Buffalo City Distillery our first consideration for a venue. Thanks...
