I’ve golfed here many times typically taking advantage of online deals including the use of a golf cart and sometimes even something to eat. The pro shop is run by a man named Jim I believe. Real nice guy but a straight shooter. Great personality overall. Def right fit for the position having to deal with college kids who lack common sense. The woman that works in the shop is very nice but tolerates a little too much of the BS that Jim straight shoots out of the way. That’s been the feeling I’ve gotten after golfing there 8-10 times this past season. Anyway the course is typically fresh nothing out of whack accept for the tee box at hole #1 and the section of cart path going up to the par 3 by the cemetery. Can’t beat the prices. I paid $9 for 9 holes and a cart included with an online special. Don’t call the course looking for that deal it is ONLY online if you can find it. This is the BEST 9 hole course in central MA considering all the factors. Price, quality, and pace of play to name a few. I understand what this course is but they need to get a better handle on the “kids” that play here or the adults are going to go someplace else eventually or wait until it’s $9 for 9. Anything that’s ever came to bother me while golfing here with the exception of a 70 year old golfer named Sergio had to do with a golfer still in school. Drinking, being loud, playing music, using language that gets you fired, playing with only ONE club, sharing a bag, typical stupid things like this that adults, of sound mind, do not partake in. Reserved a tee time online days in advance with carts. Arrive morning of and find a handwritten note on the front door saying no carts today. Drove from over an hour away to play here, so it would have been nice if they had called people who had reserved tee times with a cart and let them know. Awesome course. One of the main courses I play and for what you’re getting the price can’t be beat. Pro shop staff are great and the grounds crew does an amazing job.
