All I can say is WOW! Our experience with Audio Visual Resources (AVR) was phenomenal! Things that come to mind when I think back of our experience is high quality, professional, and such a great memory we get to keep forever! Planning a wedding in a pandemic was not for the faint of heart. AVR stepped in and made it incredibly easy and stress free. They not only live streamed our wedding for the guests at home we couldn't invite but they created our own little personal TV show including all event highlights. Streamed live on YouTube so it was easy for everyone to just click a link, then beautifully and professionally edited it and put the final version back up so we always have it available privately or publicly on YouTube. They even helped us with wording on how to communicate with our guests on how to join. So even the least of technical savvy guests were able to figure it out with ease.
From the start, Brita and Ben were very easy to work with. Communication with them was a breeze. They were knowledgeable, creative, kind, patient, and made a great team! They were able to include me as much as I wanted with technical aspects and how I wanted the event to go and where my comfort level allowed. Then without hesitation stepped in and took full control still giving me options to pick from to make it easy and making me still feel as if I was the director. They made it incredibly easy and fun!
The wedding highlights were all back to back, in between we created commercials where Ben graciously assisted many of our guests submit prerecorded videos and was even able to provide tips on how to best capture those videos. Our guests made comments on how nice he was and how helpful he was to ensure they were submitted properly. These videos were so awesome to have and such a great personal touch, making us laugh, and even ugly cry with joy! Another commercial was a very simple powerpoint of photos I created. Ben was able to take my music from a spotify playlist I created and not only applied it to the slideshow, but also to the entire ceremony perfectly.
The video footage was high quality with clear and absolutely beautiful images. They provided multiple cameras so they were able to show and move between many views very nicely capturing the feeling of actually being there in person, in fact, multiple guests even stated "It felt like we were there! Front row seats!"
The audio was very precise hiding the fact that we were experiencing a beautiful windy day on the beautiful Lake Superior. The microphones were routed directly into the live stream as well as played on speakers in person so everyone was able hear. They were able to bring a microphone for every person for COVID purposes. Brita even had a microphone under her mask connected to a "fanny-pack" speaker so she was able to communicate with and coordinate the group of people in person clearly.
Overall, the entire process was very professional and of high quality from start to finish. Our guests had fun and felt included on our special day. We are so grateful for the experience AVR was able to provide us! What makes it worth it was hearing our guests talk about how they were impressed with the quality and hearing comments like “That was the way to go, you guys did this right!” and "We were so happy to be able to still share this moment with you."
