My recent experience with Loll Designs Inc. has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. I placed an order on June 3rd for 4 white Cloud Lollygagger lounge chairs with the expectation that they would arrive by June 10th, well in advance of guests arriving at my home. However, what followed was a sequence of errors and delays that have left me thoroughly dissatisfied.
Here's a breakdown of the issues I encountered: June 12th: Instead of receiving the chairs as ordered, I received one grey chair and one of the packages was damaged upon arrival. June 13th: I promptly emailed Loll Designs Inc. to report the damaged parts and the fact that one chair was the incorrect color (grey instead of white). June 14th: I provided photos of the damaged parts as requested by Kat from Loll Designs Inc. She assured me they could rush a replacement chair early the following week and arranged for FedEx to pick up the incorrect chair. June 18th: I received communication from Loll Designs Inc. stating that replacement parts were being processed with an estimated ship date of June 21st. They also mentioned they would include a new chair in Cloud White. June 20th: FedEx finally picked up the incorrect chair. June 25th: Today, I received the replacement parts, but to my dismay, there was still no white chair. I followed up via email immediately, attaching the image of the work order placed on June 18th, and requested a refund due to the ongoing errors and the considerable inconvenience caused.
Overall, I am deeply disappointed with the outcome of this transaction. Despite numerous assurances and efforts on my part to resolve the situation, I still do not have the fourth chair I ordered. Moreover, I have not been offered any compensation for the errors and considerable inconvenience they have caused.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Loll Designs Inc. to others. If you are willing to endure the headache and hassle that I have faced, then proceed with caution. At this point, all I seek is a prompt refund, but I am still awaiting a response from them.
This experience has been a frustrating lesson in customer service and reliability, and I hope others can learn from my ordeal with Loll...
Read moreI am adding an update to this post- although the assembly was challenging, once we got the furniture together it is absolutely lovely and a great addition to our backyard. I do love that it is made from recycled materials and it was worth the assembly. That being said... If there was an option to have it partially assembled or maybe a video clip or an option to pay more to have someone assemble it, that would be so awesome!!! I am going to try to add pics of the finished product.
I like the message about being environmentally friendly which is why we felt good about ordering patio furniture from this company. We ordered at the end of May and just received the boxes a couple of days ago. For two lollygagger recliners and a small table, we received multiple boxes and parts, and it’s more work than going to IKEA... We are missing a box that has two pieces for one of the recliners. My husband has spent hours trying to put together a recliner, and now, towards the end, a piece broke and will not go back in. If we had known this much assembly was required we would have never ordered here, and now it’s a total pain as we have a half assembled recliner with a broken part and boxes with parts for a recliner that is...
Read moreWe saved up for a Loll table and couldn't be happier with it. It was a investment for us, but I love that it's made in MN out of recycled materials and has zero maintenance, even withstanding our MN winters. (I don't have the the space for storing furniture or energy for staining wood, etc...) When assembling it--which I found super easy and kinda fun--I could tell a lot of care went into the design. It's smart. I love seeing it in our backyard when I look out the kitchen window; it makes me feel like we're finally adults now, haha. Adults with good taste.
We had a little shipping snafu, and when I called Loll someone picked up right away, who resolved the issue in a way where I now almost feel guilty. Like, I really came out on top, to the point of feeling kind of embarrassed. I keep thinking I should put in volunteer hours for them, send them baked goods.. something. I owe you, Loll!
Point of this comes to: I love the table, and knowing there's such kind people standing behind it makes me love it even more....
