I cannot begin to describe the unprofessional manner that nearly the entire staff at this Funeral Home demonstrated during a difficult time of need. This includes the owner, Bill Head. My mother's funeral services had been paid for for 7 years to the tune of over $10,000 when she died. They didn't even post her obituary online until about 18 days later when I approached them about it because my friends and family had been calling me. By the time they posted it, it was too late! The staff was unaware that the bill had been pre paid and were actually questioning as as to who was going to pay the bill over and over again. Amazing that no one bothered to look in the file when the paperwork dated back seven years previously and they had to cancel a cashier's check in my mother's file. I had ordered a Keepsake piece of jewelry through Bill Head Funeral Home consisting of my mother's fingerprint that I was assured I would have in 10 days. I made all of the inquiries in person and made four different inquiries about this pendant over the course of that time. Yet no one had bothered to call the manufacturer to follow up on it. It was important to have it in a timely fashion because I was leaving the continent as my home is in Ecuador. After approximately 16 days I contacted them again asking where the piece of jewelry was. They finally called the manufacturer and found out that they had neglected to tell them the color that I wanted and they had not begun manufacturing it.. I was then told that they would rush the order. That did not happen. It has now been one month and I still do not have the pendant. I was absolutely stunned at the lack of caring and the lack of communication by everyone I talked with Bill Head Funeral Home. Phone calls were seldom returned and when they were it was seldom in a timely fashion. It was common place for them to tell me one thing but then to do another. There was so much I was trying to take care of after my mother's passing that it just blew my mind that I had to babysit this too. This caused me more aggravation than anything else I had to deal with after my mother's death. That is saying a lot! They all need to take a course in customer service. I was absolutely bowled over by the lack of follow-through on their behalf. My experience with Bill Head was absolutely extraordinary! I was distraught and Michael helped me every step of the way...he took care of my Mom's pickup at the hospital, he verified her funeral voucher with my Mom's retirement benefit company and helped me and my twin brother split the difference of what was left over...he took control of everything and made this most difficult time for me stress free with nothing to worry about. The facility's were immaculate and everything looked like brand new...my Mom's memorial was epic because of Bobby and everything was so smooth and in order! I had my mother’s memorial service yesterday at their chapel. Everything went well. My mother passed away in March 2021. I had her cremated by a different facility. Due to the pandemic, I postponed the memorial service until September 2021. I visited a few facilities in the area to find out the cost of having a memorial service in a funeral home.
