I am going to the Fayette County Fair today, always the source of great wanderment and fun since I was a child. I went a few years ago and I was impressed by the clean rides, nice clean workers, fun games and great fair food. ( local church sitting booths) There are also delightful farm, etc., exhibits. and farm animals! You'll also find the award winning 4 H Club bunny winners. It's a great atmosphere! When I was a child I lived about a mile away, everyone was busy in my family when I asked to go on Friday night so I set at on foot to attend. With delight and anticipation I walked thru fields, over a stream and up the road. I was so excited to be there, however, I had no money! I walked the circle, shaking at all the big people.. I was so afraid that I then walked home.🤗🌃🌟No one even missed me! Lol. All the times, jumping the fence as a teen then taking my BF, then husband with my daughter and family, conjures colorful great times. I missed the fantastic, should be Hall of Fame!! , CLARKS! 🎸🎼 I am going to the Fayette County Fair Tonight and I am Not walking!...

Not at all impressed... If I could give 0 stars I most def would have. We expected long lines and wait times.. We DID NOT expect to have our 14 year old daughter told to get off the very first ride because she was too FAT.. I'm not exaggerating. the ride attendant picked her out of myself and 15 others and there were several ppl 2 times her size not to mention I'm bigger than her too.. She's a big girl for her age but come on.. The attendant split us up then told her she was too fat and the bars that went over the shoulders wouldn't lock.. They locked for me and everyone else.. She was the ONLY one told to get off... I then said a few choice words and excused myself off the ride too... My husband and his family heard the attendant tell our daughter she was fat and to get off the ride and they were waiting to get on it next.. My husband tried talking to the attendant but he came off with the excuse he did not speak English.. My daughter was humiliated and wouldn't get on anything else except the Ferris wheel after that... Do better...

Parking was fantastic, very competent people guiding you to the appropriate spot. Saw people of all backgrounds come together and have a fantastic time. The visitors, vendors, and crew were all friendly, nobody was having a bad time (except the six year old boy who thought the monster trucks were too loud) and I even saw a lady drop money just for some teenager run up and make sure she got her dollar back. All we hear on the news is how there's discrimination, violence, and hate that roam the earth yet all I saw was respect, courtesy, and happiness. There were at least 3,000 people there living life and having a great time. If you want to see what this country is all about then the Fayette County Fair should be your destination. Plenty of games, food was delicious and relatively cheap, and the restrooms were...
