It pains me to be writing this review because I seldom leave a negative review but here we go. I met Rich at Broccoli Fest (7/27/2024) where he was vending and I was vending as well. I saw a fellow Black Man doing business and I impulsively wanted to support. I had heard of his business before and he had very positive energy so I was obliged. Despite my better judgement, I spent over $400 (including tip) on gold decorative teeth covers. Never in my life have I ever had a desire for this type of adornment but as we like to say, "I did it on the strength". I was told the mold would be ready in "about a week or so" and in order to minimize my buyers remorse, I was willing to wait 2 weeks. I saw an Instagram post where he stated that some of the orders were ready from Broccoli Fest and that customers could expect to receive text messages on Mon or Tues. Tuesday was August 6th. I sent a DM on Aug 6th via Instagram trying to get a status on my order. Since the Instagram page says that they respond to DMs within 24-48 hours, why not? Here we are almost a week later and no reply. I understand how business works and that you have to make priorities. I definitely didn't expect to be the first in line, as I am not a celebrity or social media influencer, so I wasn't bothered by seeing other, more valuable customers, being posted on the Instagram page. Honestly, he could of told me that they ran out of gold in all of Ghana and there would be a two month delay and I would have been totally ok, but no response at all is nasty work. The sad part is that even if I got my grills now, it would feel like pity so I honestly don't care if my order gets fulfilled. I'd rather you keep the money and the grills as a token of my support for your business and a reminder to treat all of your customers with dignity and respect. I am not angry nor disgruntled.    Read moreSadly, I went to this place to get a custom grill and was scammed (looked nothing like we discussed). PLEASE DONT Go to this place. It took months for me to get it and the communication was awful. He also refused to send me the draft we came up with. Do not fall for the charm and positivity, it’s rather sad that I fell for it. For those who get simple renditions, it seems like it works out because most newer customers aren’t as saavy. I just wish the confidence I was shown reflected in the $3000 put into this piece. I believed he was a business owner of integrity and was sure he’d at least give me a partial refund. He will probably reply and deflect like he does most of the bad reviews I’ve seen but don’t lack discernment like I did. Go else where.
Edited: as I told you he would, he’s doing damage control because he knows he’s wrong.I had friends a family tell me to request a refund early. All of this is so crazy because everybody told me he was unprofessional along the way but I believed in him. I have entire threads I wanted to post but sadly I didn’t want it to become too messy. I’m so disappointed that he’d gaslight me even after this. This is the first time in my life making review and I hope the right people realize how honest I’m being. I’M disappointed that someone would take my hard earned money, not communicate with me, push back my deadlines and do a terribly job at what he said he was “the best” at. PLEASE don’t fall for his false sense of authenticity and professionalism. Everyone in my corner knows he’s done me wrong.    Read moreFirst of all before I go into how amazing my first set looks. I need to point out the level of CUSTOMER SERVICE that I received!!! I called Rich last Friday with a hope and prayer. I reqeusted a bottom set with fangs for my 40th birthday photoshoot that took place today. I honestly thought that Rich was going to laugh at me. But he was honest any told me that he may be able to complete my order if i can come in to the shop that same day. Of course I showed up Saturday afternoon (and not early afternoon). Rich still completed my mold and promised that he would still try complete my order. At this point I though it was a no go, and I would just have the fronts in a couple weeks. Yesterday Rich personally called me and told me that my order was complete and he hand delivered my order at 9 pm, and completed the fitting in a parking lot so I can have it for my photoshoot. I am beyond grateful and I love love love my new teeth accessory.
