Update: mattress issue was resolved, thanks to RTG customer care line being proactive and getting tech out. They were very responsive. The manager at Dunn NC (Mr.Lee) helped resolve the issue. Thank you. We have been shopping at the outlet center for years especially when there is a sale.. Curb appeal and building is maintained and great parking. Inside is huge and spacious with a decent variety of furniture, the quality of the furniture is a hit and miss . Be careful when buying on the outlet side, items such as recliners, dining sets, leather furniture, mattresses and certain single chairs. Should be inspected as you are getting items that may be on the show room floor and customers sit on items, inspect your pieces and remember outlet side sales discontinued, damaged, used as well as new items. Recliners can be damaged without allowing them to function as designed, dining sets occasionally have mix matched chairs, that may not have been original chairs sold with set when they were sold at the store. Mattresses (hybrid memory foam or material that releases gas) may be new and unopened but if it's discontinued may have been stored in the warehouse for years and even though you may get a great deal ,once you unpackaged the mattress the gases trapped inside smells pretty bad and it lingers, you may not be able to sleep on it right away due to smell, so don't throw out your old mattress before you allow the new one to be aired out, it could take anywhere from 1 day to 3 wks . (Based on what I have read on google.) I will tell you that the one I purchased (Therapedic , Joffre, king size $1200) is still airing out and if you have allergies definitely be aware of what you are buying. I am using charcoal bags and air purifiers that run constantly, I also had to buy a mattress bag from home Depot to cover it , because the smell overwhelmed the room and I couldn't sleep on it plus it caused my allergies to flare up. I paid 1200 dollars and can't enjoy it. Some leather furniture sold is leather everywhere the body touches but side, back etc may be other material. If you want 100 percent leather make sure you inquire if they have one they can show you. Check the tag or ask what brand or name, you may be able to Google it online. To give you information about material for that particular model /brand. The prices are hit and miss, stay within your budget and remember you are on the outlet ,scratch and dent side. Never be sold or believe everything you are told. If you want it , if it's a great price, in great condition then buy it. The other furniture we purchased was in good condition. Customer service depends on the individual and what mood they are in, I haven't honestly always enjoyed the experience but smile through it . Make sure you check your receipt before you checkout , mattresses are sometimes sold with mattresses cover often this is an option that can cost extra. Make sure discounts are applied if any...

Today myself and my family went to this store to buy a sofa for our home and were looking at the outlet items. We found one blue sofa and we liked the item. We were looking for more information about the sofa and reached out to one sales executive from the outlet named Emily and she was assisting us. In a few minutes, another family showed interest in that particular sofa and suddenly Emily started asking us if we are ready to purchase the sofa as another family is also interested in buying the same sofa. I told her to give us some time so that we can decide and she told me that I have 5-10 mins before she lets the other family buy the sofa. I mean I wasn't buying grocery items, I was buying furniture that needs some time to decide and 5-10 mins is not enough. We have one sofa at home that we bought from another store and I was asking if they have any exchange or trade in offer and she told me that I need to check with the store where I bought the sofa from, if this sofa can be exchanged. I was really surprised to hear her response. After 5 mins she again showed up and asked if we had decided anything. I just asked for a couple of more minutes and she said will be back and after 2 mins she put the SOLD tag on the sofa. While I asked her why she put the SOLD tag on the sofa, she ran and reached the other customer and told them the sofa is sold to them. I was shocked. Even they were surprised too. When I asked for 2 extra mins to decide and in that 2 mins she put the sold tag without informing me. She put the SOLD tag before that customer purchased/confirmed the sofa. When I told this is highly unprofessional, she said "Well it will take more time for you to buy it, but I can't wait. I will get back to you once I finish this". I immediately called the outlet store manager James and he heard the issue and he really felt sorry about the incident and tried to give me a good deal but with a slightly different sofa. But I need the model that we were interested in and it was a perfect fit for our living room.I NEVER EVER felt so humiliated and insulted. Rooms To Go was my first choice for furniture and just a couple of months back I bought a dining table from another Rooms To Go store and those staff were really professional and I was happy with my purchase. But after Today's incident, I don't think I will ever go to Rooms To GO. This sales executive must get the treatment for her unprofessionalism and insulting someone. She made my daughter upset and cry because my daughter was very excited and liked that sofa. I wish she will get the same behavior...
Read moreSale of bedroom set was going fine then we started looking at mattresses which had been discussed between $600 and $650 earlier. Now there may have been some miscommunication about the selection of mattress because they showed me a mattress that was on sale regularly $1,800 but on sale for $900. The next mattress she showed me would have been $800 so I decided not to buy a mattress. Salesperson kept pushing about me coming up with a price that I'm willing to pay for mattress and I told that sells person that I was not buying a mattress there I was going somewhere else to buy the mattress that they could ring up what I had but if they said mattress one more time I was going to walk out because I was not buying the mattress from them. And again salesperson tried to push the mattress so I went to management said I will not buy anything from that sells person I should have just walked out the door but the manager asked me if I would let that person finish the sale until which I replied you've not got anybody else capable of doing what she could not do. he replied no. So I walked out. So the problems are sales people are more worried about their commission than they are the customer which I understand a balance but when you can sell nothing or everything no matter what the customer wants You will get nothing from me. Two if you are a manager and you hear that there is an issue you should not set at a table and wait for somebody to ask for you to do your job as a store manager You should have already been up addressing the situation. And yes I do apologize for being loud in your store which is better than you gave me for being disrespectful to a customer's request. As far as rooms to go corporate they have no way to respond to bad management. My cousin and one of my friends also had similar issues with this store and because you can't look up customer relations to handle a problem when you have an issue past management of the store you're stuck and because they can't take reports of bad management at stores through corporate nobody probably knows how bad the management is. Not a good business model for Rooms to Go. And also I was going to either pick up the furniture or have it delivered if the delivery didn't cost too much. The salesperson told me if I picked it up it was free but delivery and set up was $179 failed to mention that just delivery...
