I absolutely LOVED this place. They have so much stuff here and it's all made with HONEY! I loved this building and when you walk in...it's filled with so many items. CHOICES..CHOICES! My attention was everywhere here, there was so much to see I was back and forth looking at all the goodies. They have pretty much and flavor of honey you can imagine, and they also have whipped honey which Is my favorite! THEY have jellies, candies, lotions, soaps, wines, whiskeys, rums and soooo much more. They even have a beehive inside the store and you can see the bees doin their thing in the hives. Another thing I liked was that you can get samples of almost everything. I really enjoyed sampling the different honey wines. I'm not much of a wine drinker but they were pretty good.🍷 Now the whiskey...the cinnamon honey whiskey was my fave. I sampled these too. 😁🥃 They also have some products to make mixed drinks. We also sampled the different honey flavors, lemon, chokecherry, peach, pomegranate, cinnamon, raspberry, amaretto (to name a few) there were tons more and I liked that you can sample before you purchase. They have really cool pre-packed gifts of honey varieties you can purchase...you can even pick your flavors and they will package it for you nice and pretty like I had done yesterday. This is definitely a place I would recommend stopping. We had a great time...
Read moreThe sign says all dogs are welcomed, but it should say only certain dogs. My husband and I were told we weren't allowed to go to the back area of the store with my dog because of another person's service animal in a blue vest. My dog is well behaved and doesn't interact with other dogs when she's on her vest. Anyways, we stayed on our side of the store and waited in the car for 20 minutes until the customer with their service dog left. While we waited, I looked up this recommendation online and its true about how service animals get distracted. However, I wish the customer service could have been better with this situation such as a free honey stick or something for this inconvenience. Even at the checkout, I told the cashier, who seemed genuinely concerned about this situation, that I hoped to try the samples at the honey but we couldn't. I wish they would have told us at the door, so we could left our dog in the car with the windows cracked. We traveled all the way from Farmington to try this out. I understand the rule with the service dog. Please next time post a sign because we...
Read moreAdorable shop, we loved the selection of whipped honey and the coffee whiskey was incredible. Why only 1 star, you ask? Because nearly everyone that worked there was a little off putting and dismissive. When we approached the whiskey sampling area, the older lady looked down and made herself look busy in what felt like an attempt to avoid interacting with us. After a couple of minutes, without looking up she said “well. What is it?”
“Ummm… ok.”
The whipped honey sampling girl walked away as we were about to ask for our samples, after helping a few people ahead of us. When she came back, she was short and not in the mood for questions.
We really wanted to get a bottle of the coffee whiskey, but the whole vibe of the place didn’t leave us wanting to spend money so we left. Maybe it was a bad day for them?
Edit: the manager and customer service reached out and seemed genuinely apologetic regarding our experience. Thank...
